Where do I start this venue is such an place as soon as we got there we were made to feel very welcome from all the and owners they give us many tips to catch the we were looking for they have a wide range of tackle and bait for you to buy or to rent out at good prices we were then taken to our peg by the buggy and trailer while the were giving us tips on how to the venue the are very well kept and the pegs are also the are in condition on the Friday night I had a banging head ache from the 4 hour drive and the delivered paracetamol to my peg free of charge and made sure I was ok we ordered food from the cafe and it was delivered to our peg warm so we didn't have to move I would recommend enyone to come here and for the big carp and cats I had over 650 pounds worth of catfish biggest being 50 pound but there is alot bigger in the I can't wait to go back and have another go for the bigger cats place thank you furnace 5 stars 👍 Always love coming here for a few nights, don’t think I’ve ever come here and not caught something. Had my PB out of here at 23lb Mirror. Josh runs the place really well and very knowledgeable and gives advice on bait/location if you need it. A really excellent venue. Great facilities, great food from the cafe, excellent and friendly and a first class environment. From the moment you drive in and view the fishery, you know you’re in for a treat. The fishery is kept immaculately and the are in fantastic condition. I will definitely be returning and hope to do an overnight stay at some stage. Brilliant experience, despite not here. Taking my 2 young kids to for the first time, they didn't quite make the min. age limit of 14. However, we were met by the most helpful and considerate folk in the tackle shop, Katie and Olie, who not only set us up with all the necessary gear ( at a great price) but pointed us towards another set of where the kids could enjoy their first experience. I could not ask for a better encounter with more genuine people.. And happy kids, so win-win. Tight lines everyone! Beautiful place, neat and tidy , very well looked after Very good fishery. Well maintained and the is helpful. Rules are a bit strict but we all need rules :) It's a bit expensive so I can't come as often as I would like to. Would be nice if you could book your swim in advance online or in the tackle shop. Just got back from a 10 stint with my buddy Shane Hill, on Plantation and finished up with 8 cats. - - 26, 47,8, 48, 50, 56, 64.4, 72, & 81lb PB, I have been at furnace for 5 years now, and every experience gets better, the staff, terry and karen, owners, are amazing, and will not hesitate to be there for you if you need them, the amenities are amazing, toilets, microwave, washing facilities and hot water, and if you 24hrs or more a free run to your chosen swim, of you would like a nice weekend for big cats, and large carp, I highly recommended furnace as your choice of venue, and personally I'd like to say to anyone who looks at reviews please judge for yourself on how you would judge the fisherie not by the comments of a few anglers that are not prepared to follow very fair rules of the fishery, anyway tight lines to all anglers and may you all have a happy new year, from mike, furnace regular. Best got my pb catfish 98.lb and my pb carp 38.9.lb. lovely people really helpful lift to and from ur swim I love going there. Sadly my partner died last year he also got his pb from ther.
