This has always been beautiful, but there are some newly-built structures that just compromise the natural appeal of the place. There is now a historical marker that disrupts the view of the sea behind the tower; it looks misplaced. The itself is riddled with vegetation. I’ve learned that the structure was already restored before, but with these plants growing within the gaps and crevices of the structure, the whole thing is at risk of deterioration again. It is worrying. The management requires an entrance fee, so they could have at least used some of this income to hire someone to regularly pull those weeds out of the structure before they grow big and damage the heritage building all over again. Nice place, 20 pesos entry fee. Good place for a picnic or quiet beach time with the kids. I came in the weekend and only a few groups there but tons of space. Easy to get to from the city. Worth a stop if you're in the area Nice place to drop by. Also good place to training freediving. No big wave, No stream. But nothing to watch under water. Once a famous tourist spot in Bohol, Punta Cruz still stands strong. I suggest adding more things to do around here, like making it a spot for weddings because there's a chapel inside. This could attract more tourists and bring back its popularity. The place is well taken care of, which is great. But if we add more activities and tell more people about it, it could become even better. By doing this, we can make Punta Cruz shine again and attract more visitors. Taking care of it is good, but we can make it even more special by adding more things to enjoy. With some changes and telling more people, Punta Cruz could become a lively place where history and fun come together. This way, both the past and the present can be enjoyed by everyone who visits. The ambiance of the place was so nice. I honestly like it so much. This is the first watch that I visited so far here in Bohol🥹🫶🏼 ▪️Here's are the fees that we've paid: Entrance fee: 20 Pesos per head Parking fee: 20 Pesos. 📌On weekend the watch isn't open, so much better to come on Weekdays, so you can just simply enter inside. Sadly we visit today which is Sunday, so that's why the watch is currently closed, and it will be available to get inside only on Weekdays, but all in all it's worth it🫶🏼 Nice place little far away and out of the way. Great views There’s a beach here, that it’s super chill, recommend. Very serene and beautiful coastline. Watchtower adds a bit of fun, with bats in the belfry. Yes there are actual bats, a whole lot of them, in the top of the tower. Don't worry they won't hurt you. The low coastline just past the is brand new land that rose up from the sea in 2013, so is pristine virgin land and full of dead coral. Quite awesome.
