An extremely nice museum, would absolutely recommend it to those who have interest in railway transportation and subway. Unfortunately the works only once a (the second Saturday of the month) or on special events Although, it's not my kind of museum, the kiddies loved it. It's a small compared to other museums. I was quite disappointed that there was no Ubahn coach in the for the kids to get in and do their roleplay. While I lifted my 5-year old up to see one of the switchboards, one of the volunteers scolded me saying that kids aren't supposed to touch it. Then proceeded to have my kid stand on a stool while telling him how he's too weak to pull a lever and tell him it's too complicated for him to understand. When the gentleman in question was informed that I was merely showing him the switchboard he changed the subject and rambled about something else, like how hard everything was back in the day and the young of today wouldn't manage. I get that the tech needs to be treated with care, but how do you expect to interest future generations when you treat them like they will never understand? Aside from that, the atmosphere is weird, staff/volunteers smoking inside the large switch rooms, only one of the volunteers there seemed to be truly passionate about the things on display and managed to impart some of that on some of the kids there... For 2€ I guess it's not that bad but if you have to travel a long time to be here with kids, reconsider. Can only go first Saturday of the month!
