Of the dozens of places I have visited Traben-Trarbach was the most disappointing. Wine isn't bad, but go someplace you can actually drink it and not spend 45 min walking around to find everywhere closed. Pretty, but that gets old in 30 min. Not a good town to visit. The staff in the Tourist Information Office were very friendly and helpful. We came away with pamphlets detailing walking tours and giving brief histories of the things to see in the town.
