Nice long and feels safe When I first saw this I was surprised that it was so wide and the sea was so far . Between is a big space for sea "rubbish" and stones and it is great place for people who love to spend the time and search for sea treasures . By around 17:30 the sea started to grab what it gave away for all day and in around 40 minutes all space between and sea was filled up . It is great place to relax , by the evening , you can get alone time so there is only you and the sea and whispering quietly waves . Wow. Even on bank holidays it's bliss. Not as one may see in like Devon or Cornwall over packed! So many long wide soft sand beaches not steep tides. It's untouched. I feel like I'm in South France or the Carribbean! Come at sunrise or sunset it's amazing! I got the whole breach to myself. Am I Richard Branson on my private island? Lol did i mention how nice the Welsh people here? They are awesome! Bless them. You can view sunset a little here @AfterHoursCupping Apparently known as granny's Custard beach, when the goes out, it goes out far and then its like walking through sludge to get to the water. When the is high the is lovely, a mixture of sand and shells and as far as the eye can see. Small parking spaces along the coast but easy to access. Nicer than most town/city beaches but it’s nothing compared to the Gower, which is only a short journey west. This lovely place is majorly let down by the water companies pumping sewage into it at the first drop of rain. Beautiful during both high and low tide. Perfect for barefeet walk in the morning during low tide. Must visit place with family. Ample of Parking with adventure route to explore Swansea Nice and good for swimming on sunny days. However you need to considering the tide. Nice and tidy sand beach. Lot of place for walking, cycling and picnic. Kids playing area and kids pool for swimming. Shops for icecream, coffe and snacks. Long walks and cycling paths. Lots of trees near the with shades and area for picnic. Toilets are available. Toilet locks are broken but and tidey. Nice place for evening walks and outing. Benches are available near to the to sit and enjoy the view. Not too windy. Railway station and bus station are walking distance Amazing place to be, especially at sunset. Lovely here! The sand so velvety soft. Generally very clean. Water is nice and clear. Easy parking nearby too! It was a quiet day when we went kayaking and the water was surprisingly warm. This is a nice stretch of ideal for water sports. Great for families . Beautiful Great dog friendly with rock pools for exploring! Would suggest swim shoes if you want to go into the sea as there are many rocks and shells is closely situated just a few mins walk off the main road. Beautiful white soft sand that some dog owners don't up after their pets... so I had to move a few times before I put my blanket down, and enjoy a beautiful day on Swansea beach. Parking is fine... But you have to download an app put in all yor bank details etc. Once done they send you a reminder for when your ticket is up. Luckily I got some help from a lovely friendly family who were trying to do the same too.
