I think it's a wonderful name and a great place to visit. The view of the bay is stunning. Took a little to the pier and had a hot chocolate drink in a cafe between the heavy downpours. The pier however was being renovated. This did not prevent anyone walking up to the RNLI lifeboat station and taking a look around. Interesting stories to be read inside about its history. There are lots of shells to play with, make sand castles and have picnics or take a long stroll as this beach ⛱ is incredibly wide. Plenty of space for everyone! There was barely anything alive in that mud and altogether it was rather disgusting Nice along promenade, then climb over to light house although if you have walking difficulties, then not so easy it's not a flat to get to light house Nice!
