I can only comment on the golf course as I didn't stay here. I liked the course - very dry and play accordingly and you'll be ok. Greens ran fast with some tricky bits. The course can be confusing , especially from the 6th to 7th and back to the 18th. We had food after the round and it wasn't the best. It didn't inspire me to eat there again. Played 18 holes here last weekend, lovely course, very good conditions for time of year. Very reasonably priced and friendly welcome. I was lucky enough to bump into 3 members Charlie,Rob,and Lee who invited me to join their group as they'd had one drop out. The greens were well maintained, and course was easy to follow even with some of the holes amended for winter play. Looking forward to coming back and seeing how it plays in the summer ☀️ Wouldn’t recommend - go play Fairwood Park nearby instead as it’s lovely! This course is set in a lovely place but the greens are in terrible condition - all of them have mud on, one missing a flag, three with hoses on them, one of which completely waterlogged. Also the clubhouse is pretty horrible, no service after a round and a clearly very dirty kitchen. Wouldn’t recommend for golf or a pint. Played this course a few times now as a visitor. Tee times are a very good price for how well kept the course is. Views are also stunning over the gower. Had my brothers’ 40th surprise birthday party here last weekend and it was such a success! Everybody had a fantastic night and it all went so smoothly, the staff were great and Adrian has been very accommodating throughout the planning process. Will 100% be holding more events here in the future and can’t wait!! 👌 Also was so great having the rooms just across the yard. Breakfast was also very very tasty. Really don’t have a bad word to say about the place or people running it. Oh and the views are phenomenal too! 🌅 I could never have imagined that I would have to stay at a golf club of this level, still providing accommodation and catering services. It's strange that this place haven't closed by hygiene services yet. The room looked like the place was prepared for a Halloween party. I didn’t take a risk to have breakfast there . Health is more expensive. Played there today as Fairwood golf club was closed haven’t played here for about 10 years and can’t believe how shabby the course is looking, the greens are in terrible condition!course should be in peak condition at this time of year Played the course on july 28th. Very well designed golf holes, and enjoyable to play. Green fee was only £20. Great value in my opinion. Would have no hesitation recommending.
