Visited here with family for photos after a wedding. Such a beautiful place, and definitely made a stunning backdrop. The memory garden is truly stunning, plenty of seating and things to see within the whole park. Gardening is superb and so tidy. Good parking nearby too. The is okay, not very good, underfoot in places the dogs enjoyed having a walk worth a visit Beautiful Lovely place a few hills but worth a visit and falling on the grave yard which was very interesting Great walk, plenty of wildlife to see, lots of small waterfalls and interesting victorian features. Nice for the kids and a lovely walk with some great views for the adults. Doesn't get to busy, so it's usually quite peaceful Wonderful park. Mixture of different species of trees makes the paved walks interesting. Few features to look at such as the drinking fountain and the waterfall. Very tidy park. Will return! Grown up with this park. Had the best time sledging down the steep paths and banks. The rose garden is a quiet haven. The just needs a bit of TLC In the spring or summer months maybe some landscaping or gardening. Perfect place for an afternoon walk when it's not raining, the being revamped is amazing for the kiddos Lovely walks with my dog never too busy, is a great place to go to clear your mind with a breath of fresh air. Also great job to all the volunteers looking after the Love this park. Great new creature trail Beautiful place pity some stupid person has cut down all the lovely Wild Flowers at the top of the park? The Bees would be having a field day. Absolutely Stunning park,So many Beautiful things to see like Waterfalls, nature trails, Beautiful gardens, lots of things to do for family's with children, or just a lovely peaceful stroll on your own, Please Everyone check this place out 🤠👍🤠 Beautiful flora. Threes are old like in the wood and many species. Highly recommended for a walk. Have some difficulties to drive a pram. Beautiful Excellent My husband is in a wheelchair. Today being fine and sunny we decided to visit the at Whitehall. There wasn’t any parking available at the Bolton rd entrance so we drove up the side road and couldn’t find a suitable entrance. There wasn’t any first two had steps the third we couldn’t access on the pavement as there is a huge tree trunk and no dropped pavement so get around. Eventually we went into the along the road to the farm which was horrendous as the surface is all broken up. We had a smooth road up to the white fountain and decided to get back to the car. Himself not wanting to risk the bumpy road asked me to drive the car in. What a very disappointing trip out. We will not go to Whitehall again. So if you are in a wheelchair forget about visiting this park. Sunnyhurst woods are not much better and Boldventure is similar. So our next outing will be to Witton which is accessible.
