This is a place. We had a stay here on our way back home. The place itself is so beautiful and well maintained. The owner is super friendly. The pool is super nice . The location was for us perfect since it is on the countryside. Without doubt the best place we have stayed in for 3 weeks in 5 countries. Mulino di Prada is a haven of peace, beauty and wonderful food. This converted farmhouse is run by Francesco and his sister, and has been lovingly converted over 4 years, with attention to detail and care over materials used. The reception/breakfast room resounds to gentle piano music, and was courteously served to our table, with homemade jams and honey and excellent coffee. Our room was beautiful, with beams and exposed brickwork, and the bathroom was luxurious. We arrived around 3pm without having lunched, and were offered Parma ham, bread and fresh Gala melon slices, with lashings of delicious local olive oil. Mulino did Prada also has a pleasant small swimming pool, which was a treat. All rooms are air conditioned and our bed was very comfortable. We cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. You won't want to go any further than one of the two excellent local restaurants. I never got around to writing my review but I finally am ! Last summer my partner and I spent a wonderful couple of nights at Mulino Di Prada and we had the most wonderful, relaxing time. I originally chose the location because of its proximity to Crema, where one of my favorite movies was filmed but we enjoyed Francesco's place maybe even more...what a host ! We enjoyed a very hot afternoon by the pool with fresh drinks and towels brought to us by Francesco. I would absolutely come again...such a peaceful countryside location with comfortable rooms. We are looking back on a perfect stay. Hosted by very friendly owner, and clean and spacious room with a beautiful pool. The nature is amazing and the villages around were worth visiting! With these products we bring a little Mulino di Prada home for our friends and family :)! A buatiful family farm that is located 40 minuets drive from Milano to the south east. Nice comfortable rooms, quiet, with taditional farm feeling and decor. the family that runs the place is very hospitable and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. A good place as a base for touring Milano and the countryside. What a oasis away from the crowds of the city. Very hospitable hosts, clean well appointed room, nice breakfast, and interesting setting of the farm with old water wheel and river. We really enjoyed our one night and the pool was very refreshing. My family and I had a stop here on our way back home. We stayed for one night. After a long day in the car the stay was perfect. The host was very nice and tried to fullfil every wish we had. Our room was very nice, clean and had cool furniture. We had a nice and were ready for the way home. I would recommend booking directly with Francesco, the host.
