The cottage we booked had been restyled. It was cozy and generally clean inside. The mattresses were good. However, we thought the pillows could be a bit firmer. The kitchen was equipped with all conveniences. Ultimately, we only found one real negative point about the cottage: the interior is very damp. You can see this from the many silverfish that are everywhere. We think this is due to poor ventilation in the cottages. During our stay at the end of December, it was also incredibly warm inside. The combination of the damp indoor climate and a heating system that quickly warms up the cottage creates this issue. Even lowering the thermostat to 15 degrees didn’t make it feel any cooler inside. The park’s reception and the adjacent restaurant are new and have a modern look. We bought bread rolls once at the supermarket. We found them relatively expensive, especially considering that you have to take them from a glass counter, and they’re similar to Lidl-style rolls. Overall a good experience! Pros: the family house and have great facilities. Love the amount of bathrooms, the well supplied kitchen and the fenced garden. Also the entertainment offering for is great, and daily good fresh bread from the bakery in the supermarket. The Roompot app is very useful! Cons: the inside swimming pool is very small for such a large park, therefor you are only allowed to swim once (!) per stay. I understand the restriction, and it’s communicated upfront, it is really too little. The mattresses are super hard, I had back and neck pain the entire week. Also a night lamp in the kid’s rooms would’ve been nice, instead of only a big light. Review for the Holiday Park We spent New Year’s Eve at this holiday to escape the fireworks, as our dog is terrified of them. The was advertised as a fireworks-free zone, but unfortunately, this was not the case. The cottage, although renovated, still feels quite basic in its furnishings. That said, it is spacious and comfortable to stay in. The layout of the park, however, is relatively compact, so privacy is limited. The surrounding area is very nice and perfect for a week-long getaway with plenty to explore and enjoy. However, if you are specifically looking for a fireworks-free experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Not at all a fireworks free like they promise. If you are looking for a fireworks free place to come with your pets, don't bother. Non-stop fireworks everywhere. I have actually never seen such an inferno. Environment is beautiful but other guests are just doing their thing and not caring about rules or other people. We’re extremely disappointed and honestly quite upset. This feels like a scam, and it’s unacceptable behavior—especially from a company of this size. We don’t know if the cleaning crew lied, if someone else did this, or if it’s just an excuse to charge us extra. Either way, it has completely tainted the end of our vacation. To be clear: we did not smoke inside. Accusing us of something we absolutely didn’t do just adds insult to injury. It's not just a misunderstanding—this feels like an intentional move to take more money from us, and it's beyond frustrating. At this point, it’s not even about the money anymore—it’s about the principle. We were genuinely happy with the place and had already been talking about coming back. But now, after this experience, we just can’t. It feels like we’ve been taken advantage of, and that’s a horrible feeling to leave with. We hope you reconsider and do the right thing, because right now it just feels wrong. we stayed with 6 adults and 5 in a very comfy and bog house on the border with the golfcourse, nr 341...very nice view and i would recommend that house, as the other houses have very tiny gardens, and you sit with your chair next to the road. So the house is ok.... everything else.... the service is terrible.... arrogant waiters who do not want to work, 10 people on terrace, and 4 waiters including bartendes inside, and you will wait for at least 45 minutes for your wine or beer...coctails? goodluck with that.. So one day i asked the waiter for a special beer, he replied we do not have, only weissener beer, i said, i do not like weissener beer, you have something else? he said, well you can drink water? and laugh... The club, well they try, but there is no ambiance, and the place is kind of dead... maybe it is because everything is brand new, it gives a sterile atmospere, but all the fun things for you have to pay extra, so if you have more then 2 kids, good luck with that... the playground for outside, i do not know which genius has put like regular contruction sand underneath the playground? after 30 mnutes of playing you do not recognise them due to all he dust on them... Dirty room, Staff told us they were open till 8pm, 6pm and no one there. Now we are left without food.
