Highly recommend A brilliant visit to a special vineyard just outside of Barcelona. The village of Alella has a rich making history and Alta Alella continues this tradition by making some delicious and cava. Our was led by Martha who was full of knowledge and passion for the wines. A great half day out from Barcelona, easily reachable by bus or taxi. The Alta Alella are very helpful on email and in person at the visitor centre. Enjoy lovely views and crisp with small snacks as you gaze across the vines where your started! We visited Alta Alella as a group of 12 as part of a hen do. The team were really helpful when booking via email. On the day we just so happened to be lucky enough to get the whole vineyard to ourselves as there was no other groups booked (this was mid week) and it was just beautiful. Alberto our was very lovely and knowledgeable. The was insightful and interesting. The was delicious and you got to taste a variety of different wines, it was nice to hear about the natural element of the and the environmental considerations. I would love to come back again one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you’re on holiday! The views are breathtaking. Views were stunning and was great. Treatment from the was okay. They were accommodating though! We had such an amazing time at the winery! The was fascinating, especially learning about the organic and natural process. The brunch was cooked to perfection, and the pairings were incredible. The grapes grown in those rocky soils had so much minerality — you could truly taste it in every sip. Highly recommend booking early so you don’t miss out! Fantastic and tasting! The location is stunning, are excellent and our was extremely knowledgable. We would make this a must on any trip back and also will be looking around for their wines! Amazing location for a that makes good respecting nature and environment. Cava is very good, but also the other wines. It absolutely deserves a visit and a taste...also thanks to Xavi, our guide, really professional, honest and smart! My boyfriend and I visited for his birthday in August 2024 and we had a fantastic experience at this winery! The views are stunning, the are unique and the is hospitable and kind. The was informative and fun while being relaxed. We took a taxi to the and our cab driver ended up dropping us at the bottom of the hill leaving us to hike the mountain up to the winery. When we asked the they informed us taxi's are in fact able to drop off at the and were so kind to call us a cab right to the front of the building. We felt so taken care of and was truly one of best days in Spain. Thank you to their caring for giving us a wonderful experience! You won't find better views at a winery! Trying to balance work, life balance whilst travelling for business can be tricky, however this trip out we managed to visit an awesome vineyard as part of a tour, here's to our fantastic vineyard who taught me loads about all the grapes and the Cava processes.
