I didn't give more stars because the employees (maybe even the owners) are not friendly towards foreign people, regardless of their economic situation. Even though we pay (expensively) every month and are polite members who even help collect trash from the beach and streets (and there is a lot of trash everywhere like I’ve never seen before in other countries I lived) expats and tourists are always treated with a certain amount of arrogance and prejudice. As a person who have traveled the world, I can say that they make you feel bad about being there, even though we pay a good amount of money to be there. This is a negative point that always makes me think if it's worth it, but I keep the membership for our children. A bit worn out but still lovely and has a beach view I had a disappointing experience at El Masnou Yacht Club over a period of a few years and finally quit. Not soon enough. The prices are exorbitant for what they offer. The staff is rude and lacking customer service. The facility's maintenance is sorely lacking – there's a noticeable need for paint and general upkeep. The weight room has persistent leaks that remain unrepaired. Moreover, the local crowd seems cliquey and pretentious, trying to emulate other respectable clubs but falling way short. The facilities, apart from the pool, are far from impressive. My advice: Save your money unless you plan to use the pool frequently. The pool is exceptional but nothing else about this place is worthy of consideration. Un buen muelle This is not the place where you should go. Go to the restaurant on the left side at the beach. They have great paella on a very nice terras with beach view. We hadn't booked, but the reviews were good so we tried and got a table. The owner was not pleased that we hadn't booked and put us in a corner and ignored us. The waiting staff did their best to compensate for the owner's snobby rudeness and the food was good, but expensive. The owner saw us standing with our credit card and ignored us again and kept us standing waiting to pay and finally told one of the other staff to do it. I hope it was a mistake, but fortunately I checked the bill before paying as we were charged twice for our drinks...
