A green area in mid of a busy commercial and housing area. Lots of benches to sit in sun and shade. Restrooms are there, which are maintained well. A cafe and restaurant on one side. Kids have their own corner. Metro station is very close. It is where sometimes fair and shops are setup during festive seasons. Very nice park, has a small lake with ducks and a small playground for kids to play. During Christmas always has a fair with foods and traditional Portugal souvenirs. OK. A quiet little oasis. Well maintained flower beds and trees. A small but neat cafe. Overall very clean and tidy and calming. Calm place to relax inside the city. Plenty of spots to sit down both in the shadow and under the sun. Also has a childrens playground. Great park and good walk with views. Very nice playground for kids, although maintenance could be better (a problem common to the whole Metropolitan area unfortunately). Also xmas market and lights in xmas, much better lights than in Porto! Beautiful Garden i like to Visit here … What a stunning place! Great spot to relax and be outdoors (rather than waiting in the airport for a late night flight!) The Feira dos Golfinhos is every 4th Sunday from 10:00-17:00. There is a great selection of used goods and antiques and everything in between. Worth a trip to visit! But keep in mind, its Sunday In Matosinhos, nothing is open, so finding a cafe or bathroom may be challenging. We found 1 cafe open and it was super busy! So plan potty breaks accordingly! Have fun shopping! Lindo muita paz Public garden with plenty of trees and space. There is a Park for children to play. It has a good space to ride a bike or roller scaters near the Fountain. Nearby there is a the public library, besides the interesting building it is a great place for children, with much more than books to play with. Dirty, pigeon feces everywhere and with ugly graffiti on the children's rides. No place to park the car unless you pay. The upside is that the ground of the playpark has sinthetic grass so kids can fall and not hurt themselves, and the coffee in the middle of the park is good and it was interesting watching old folks playing cards and having a good time(they need these spaces too, not just the kids). There are better places to take your children in this city.
