Windy Windy Windy Nice golf course, difficult and fun. We watched a high school golf ACAC Tournament here and the people were nice and the grounds were well taken care of. The wind surprised us the 2 times we were here but our daughter said that made it fun. I recommend this place and their clean restrooms too. Good Place to get some Pics of The Rising Sun 🌞 Early in the Morning Before Golfers Arrive . Played in June 2024. Had vague memories of playing this a long time ago when it was called the Fox's Den. I played it on a hot, dry day. I'm actually surprised how green and soft the fairways/greens were. Considering it's supposed to be, at least I think, a linksy style course, they may keep it a bit softer than it's supposed to be, but that's not really a complaint. I did like how they don't cut the grass around the tee boxes, which creates a linkish vibe. At first I thought it was by accident, but as you play the course, you notice it's intentional, and adds to the scenery. The course itself has a good layout, even though most of the holes goes thru a housing development. There is lots of water in play, especially on the par 3's and par 5's. The wind was pretty consistent, and added some challenge as well. Hole 15 had a really cool pano view of the surrounding area. I think the back 9 is the better 9 as it has less influence from the housing development, but there's still some good holes on the front as well. Jim Fazio designed the course - brother to the much more known Tom Fazio, but Jim still has quite a list of course designs. I think this is a hidden gem in the NW/Central Ohio area. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, is I thought it was a bit pricey for what it is. I walked it on weekday around 11, and it was $29. Not outrageous, but a bit pricey for walking. Other than that, I enjoyed the day, and the course! I get that there are really only 2 courses in Celina but for the price of $50 a round and from being from out of town.... horrible experience. The tee box are below my local city courses, for the same price, the fact there is not one ball wash station....sorry maybe at 1 hole. But for $50 I expect a ball wash every other hole minimum! Was not impressed by the course at all, extremely wet for being 90+, I can not recommend this course unfortunately. It was a hot day and no water stations to be found, I get not every course is the same, however expected more from this course due to the price and the pictures online. Don't be fouled if your from out of town/state, maybe try the other Celina course. From what I hear it is poorly maintained but your not getting much for the higher price at lynx. Hope my next experience is better in the future 🙏 Course manager was constantly harassing my entire group of friends. Dude ripped a hard R so hard, I felt like I went back to the 17th century. Highly recommend not to book here. Course was mid as well. I have been playing golf for 45 years and have never seen an owner like the lynx owner act like such a jerk. I will never ever ever play here again because of it. Course Manager was very rude. The other one-star comments tell the story pretty accurately. Wish we could get a refund, but we don’t want to deal with him again. I hope he grows a more positive attitude in the future. The Course itself wasn’t that well-kept, but not the worst we’ve seen. Owner was yelling in our backswings. He completely ruined our experience, 45 years of golfing and he made me want to hang up the clubs. He was commenting on what we were wearing and said we deserved it. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! I only started golfing about 4 months ago and I have to say that this is the perfect place. All of the staff are extremely welcoming and I absolutely love the course, I play about 2 or 3 times a week and I just can’t get enough. The course is challenging enough that experienced golfers will have a nice time and welcoming enough that beginner golfers like myself can improve and work on our game. Jim, Rob, and the rest of the staff are amazing and are really nice people to be around and really do make you feel welcomed no matter your skill level. Course was solid, but the Course Manager completely ruined this experience for me. Came to play with some friends for a bachelor party and was harassed on the ninth hole by the course manager. Potentially intoxicated, he hurled slurs and was demeaning about my golf skills, making an obviously sarcastic remark about my skillset. Heard he used a racial slur at a multiethnic friend of mine. I felt physically threatened by his actions and found them repulsive. In my 45 years of golf I’ve never seen anything like this Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
