Access to the from a parking lot is over a wooden covered bridge. I love this park, small and yet there are interesting things to see. BEAUTIFUL PARK, Lots of history, love the locks and covered bridge. A must see when in this area. Well maintained in the middle of town. A neat little spot that you have driven past a hundred times. Very nice place even at night. Checked out the boat and the covered bridge. Then hit the trails, walking the trail at night was very calming and peaceful. A little ways back on walk trail there was a cool blue light that lights up a bridge. Only thing the water stunk bad and had a film on the top. Walked thru the and checked out the cool boat on water then strolled over to the covered bridge and enjoyed the veiw. It's definitely an amazing honoring veterans!
