THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We are staying in the & using this YMCA while recuperating from an injury. We mainly used the swimming area, locker rooms, sauna/jacuzzi - but viewed other areas. Facility is renovated/newer built and very modern & well kept. So much to do here in this beautiful facility! - [ ] Convenient location minutes from a main highway - [ ] Plenty of parking. Easy in and out. - [ ] Helpful and very friendly staff!! - [ ] Great with lap and general swimming area. Easy stair access into the water. - [ ] Phenomenal jacuzzi - love the timer! - [ ] Handy sauna near & locker rooms - [ ] Great hours for open swimming - [ ] Awesome towel service helps keep equipment clean & water off floor when your done in the locker room - very helpful - [ ] Great use of MATS & FANS in the locker room!! Very handy to keep dirt out of changing areas & to help keep water off the floor as well as help you cool off after exercising! - [ ] Love the food & drink vendors in the building. Delicious & healthy options! NourishU items are amazing! Only CON is I wish they offered a month to month membership like many other YMCAs do so that those of us not here permanently or for snowbirds you wouldn’t have to keep paying all year round - even with their 3 month pause option. Would be a beneficial option to add! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this YMCA! They have a very nice splash pads for the kids. It's a nice YMCA. The people are friendly, the facility was clean and organized. There was a and traditional gym machines/classes, but we went for the rock climbing wall! I haven't done that in ages but it was fun for the whole family - dad, mom, 16 year old son and 6 year old daughter. Free too with a gym membership. Nice clean place. Plenty of parking. We were there for a H.S. swim meet. The has very little room for spectators. The timing board was large and easy to see. I believe they either remodeled or just built this place within the past couple of years. Regardless, this is a super nice facility. We only use it for the as our son is a scout and needed to practice for the swimming test to be able to partake in water activities this summer at camp. I believe I paid $25 for the year to get him in to practice. Each visit I did have to pay an additional $5 but well worth it in the middle of winter for the indoor pool. They also have saunas and a Jacuzzi as well as a rock wall and weight room. I wish I lived closer to this place LOL Clean and beautiful facility! Expansion going on. Thank you, Josh for allowing me to visit and run Wapak. I went there and did the aquatic classes, and it was a great time. The women were very friendly and the instructor made sure I understood what I was doing.I would definitely be going back again Can we please enforce a rule to STOP TEXTING while on a machine!!! So tired of waiting on a machine because the person is too worried about playing on their phone than getting their sets done! It’s ridiculous. Staff is kind as can be towards me. I’m used to people making unfair judgements pretty quickly with my appearance. Thank you to the team that works here. Our family went over to check out the Health parade that is now past. Detached Daycare center is abusive but the gym is fine Best "Y" in the The facilities and classes offered are great! Staff at the front desk are always rude, but you interact with them very little unless you have a question, then good luck. Horrible experience here with the blonde barista, came in to her yelling at an instacart delivery girl who was in tears. I minded my business but then when I ordered my smoothie she gave me attitude too. I couldn't believe it. Do t waste your money here. Better juice bars around.
