Will become a regular now and try the food 😋 I atmosphere and great service. I would say the food is pub grub, nothing fancy, and average size portions. Would go back. We had a Sunday lunch here. Came across it by chance as we were staying nearby and checked the reviews. The review mentioned George and his great customer service. So I phoned up and booked for the Sunday we were close by. His manner on the phone was just as polite in person. The plates of Sunday dinner were substantial and nothing was left at all. All very tasty. Really impressed on all fronts and to top it off they had Jaipur on hand pull but I was driving so have a Oakham ales session instead. Flying visit for Sunday roast. Very tasty and the turkey was perfectly cooked. Shame we didn’t have time for desert. Staff were very friendly and welcoming especially George. Thank you We stayed 2 nights as a family and celebrated a family wedding in their function room. Staff and owners all lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We had the pub and accommodation for us to use and get ready for the big day. Fantastic food and the inn has kept its charm and character. Highly recommend.
