Fábrica de Natas is an absolute delight! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the aroma of freshly baked pastéis de that instantly makes you smile. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always serve with a genuine smile — their great service really stands out. The natas themselves are perfection: crisp, pastry with a creamy, rich custard filling that’s just the right balance of sweetness. Easily the best I’ve had in Porto! Pair one (or three) with a coffee or a glass of port for the full experience. The patio is beautiful — a peaceful, sunlit spot right in the heart of the city where you can relax and watch the world go by. If you’re visiting Porto, do yourself a favor and stop by Fábrica de Natas. It’s a true taste of Portugal at its best! 🇵🇹☕🥧 Good place to have breakfast. Delicious pastries, good coffee, helpful staff Try delicious de in style in this location. • Food: You can't go wrong getting de in this place. Crust were well baked and and the filling I find to be a bit more than other shops. They also sell sandwiches and drinks. • Service: Staff were all friendly. • Ambiance: Good seating inside the restaurant. Best seats are upstairs by the balcony overlooking Santa Catarina. • Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. About 5 Euros for 2 Pasteles and a drink. Fabrica de creates delectable treats, allowing you to enjoy them in a great location. Highly recommended spot. Freshly made and crispy base. Icing sugar and cinnamon packed in individual sachets for my takeaway order was a smart touch. Staff could be a bit friendlier. Crisp, fluffy tart shells and soft flowy fillings. If you are planning to order the set menus, do note the portion size of the bread/toast/bakes are quite big. The quality of De in Portugal depends on the quality of the football teams. The better the football team in a city, the tastier De it has. I liked the De here, but De Natas in Lisbon are tastier than in Porto. We liked the place so much that we visited it twice in one day. Delicious de and salmon sandwiches! One of the best I had during my trip to Portugal — incredibly crust and perfectly creamy filling. The texture and flavor were spot on! Besides the nata, the other pastries were also delicious and fresh. Worth trying!Prices are reasonable, and the overall quality is excellent. Highly recommended! One of my fav pasteis de shops in Porto, perfect consistency and sugar level If you’re looking for the perfect breakfast spot in Portugal, this is absolutely the place! The coffee is rich and smooth, the pastries are fresh out of the oven, and the Pastéis de are simply the best I’ve ever had, crispy, golden layers on the outside with a creamy, warm custard inside that melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the ideal way to start your morning. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this café is a must-visit for a truly authentic taste of Portugal. Wife and I came in for some dessert and coffee. had the portuguese tarts and a mocha. Both were excellent. the tart was very nicely done and tasted wonderful. the mocha was also very delicious. would recommend anyone coming to Porto to try it. One of our favorite de places! We visit every time when in Porto. a must-visit spot in Santa Catarina!! i never skip it, the de is insanely good and the vibe is absolutely lovely, with fast and friendly service We must have tried 5 different places and this place made the best - crust, served warm and the custard was not too sweet but creamy at the same time. We've went back multiple times throughout our trip! Amazing tarts and their breakfast treats are good too. The da was warm and fresh every time I got it! It was and buttery, also the space inside fabrics da was big so was easy to find a place to sit! Beautiful looking bakery but awfully dirty. Every empty table are filled with crusts n coffee droplets. Is a shame with the dirty tables, hopefully they can work on creating a cleaner environment for their patrons. de are crispy and buttery but personally I found it too sweet. Stopped in because I was craving a de but I wanted one that was warm. This place delivered! I paired it with a glass of port and it made cozy little late afternoon snack. Friendly service, very clean shop. One of the places I’ve saved on my list and it did not disappoint. The custard want an overly sweet but still sweet tho the crust were thin and flaky. Staff was rlly nice I brought my mom with me but only bought one and they gave me another de for free thank you so muxhhhjh ❤️❤️❤️ One the best de that I have tasted so far in Portugal. The place is pretty busy you have to wait a few minutes until you can order but it really pays off, you can also see the making of the inside. Great expierience, great taste:) definitely a must try if you are visiting the city:) The de were still warm and very tasty. Affordable (1.40€ per unit and they also offer à discount if you buy per 6).
