The rave reviews are right, this is some tasty fish. Don't miss the seasoned salt for your fries. Tartar sauce is fresh and the breading is crisp. Good prices and nice that it's also near a gas station - good excuse to stop as you're bringing your rental vehicle back to the airport (or literally anytime you're nearby and hungry!) Tasty and chips. One or the I have ever had. The chin ( chin), moist and balance, is my favorite. Highly recommend A good place to grab a quick bite. This shop is located near the round about and next to a gas station and Bónus supermarket. The staff and owner are super friendly - good service! The and the chin taste very fresh and the fries are good as they are made to order. The price is relatively cheaper than eating at a restaurant but still not cheap for just & chips. This was our first and ships in Iceland and we enjoyed the meal. The is crunchy from outside and tender from inside. The ships are great especially with the sauce that goes perfectly with them. Medium size is good but if you are hungry opt for the large one. The service is quick, the place is clean and the lady is kind. Best and we have had. On the way to airport, we stopped. Pleasantly surprised at quality, deliciousness. Skip food at airport and eat here. Perfect way to end sightseeing in the area. Izzi was there, super friendly, great story and family business. So yummy! Stopped here before my flight and it was everything I was looking for. Super fresh & perfectly crisp & chips. Tartar sauce was great. Quick & delicious! Loved reading about Issi & Hjördis love story leading to this establishment :) highly recommend! I’m from Canada and we have top notch and (i.e., cod, halibut, etc.,) and the and here was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything fresh cooked. The batter was fantastic, not too heavy but still nice and crispy. Tartar sauce was on point too. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking. Highly recommend. The great reviews are well-deserved. This is a simple venue offering freshly fried paired with delicious French fries—a perfect combination that’s hard to beat, especially at such reasonable prices by Icelandic standards. 10/10 would recommend and definitely come back.
