In case you visit Ampelakia it is a great place to visit a more than 300 years old mansion and learn a few things since there is a guided tour and a reasonable ticket of just one euro for adults. All is old, but looks new 🙂 there are a lot of taverns and restaurants, views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from an altitude of 450m. Roads are well maintained and pitoresque.
