Although I had to leave very early (5:30 am) to catch my train across the channel, they mad breakfast available with coffee, croissants, fresh 'clafoutis aux cerises' that where a very welcome start for a long day ahead. One of the best Places I have been for sleeping. The Company i have work for, had a Customer close by. So it is allways a pleasure to have a Night here. They have a Pool and a Gym for your workout as well! The Best in my Opinion is the View und the noises of burning timber, in one of the iron stoves… I am allways happy to stay there for some Nights… Enjoy the silence… Nice quiet place to stay! Breakfast is exquisite, and very well planned. Owners put in very kind and caring personal effort. The round-bed room ('Schum') was very comfortable. Bathroom & shower was OK. There's an air of quiet and leisure at the Farm de Ribeaufontaine. There's a common room that borders on the swimming pool. You're allowed to grab drinks from the fridge, and pay afterwards. Also that common room can be used to cook your own dinner. Due to the presence of the horse stables, you should be willing to accept the accompanying rural odor :) The owners very kindly pointed us to Hotel/Restaurant La Paix at approx. 10km away which featured "A great gastronomic dinner, but not at astronomic pricing", and we can confirm this wholeheartedly! Magnificent place in the wide open quietude, with walking trails starting right next to the farm. Very friendly, helpful owners. And most important: great dark nights as well, with a splendid view on the Milky Way ;-). Very charming little BnB. The pool on a sunny evening is incredible and the breakfast is so lovely! Great getaway from the city! Hands down one of the best B&B’s we visited. It’s on a relaxed horse farm with great buildings. Superb breakfast wit local food, and a personal menu. The host is very informative and the swimming pool comes with all the perks. A gem in the middle of an over-farmed area.
