This rating is for their cafe as we went here for brunch. It's an incredible cafe with a farm stay feel. I discovered them while looking for speciality coffee. They're the only place around here that make speciality coffee. I loved the flat white so much that I also ordered a cortado after having brunch. The quality of the bread and fruits served in their breakfast menu is simply delicious. They also grow most of their fruits at the property. There's also a small spielplatz for children. Also, huge props to the friendly staff and their excellent service. We had a fantastic short break at the lovely Gasthaus Canow. Of course it is in beautiful surroundings but also the quality of the accommodation, the excellent food and hospitality, and overall beautiful philosophy made it very special. We hope to come back soon! I had breakfast there with family and friends. The staff is really good. They serve you food like family members and they have got their own garden onsite so the fruit jelly and other stuff like was fresh and made by them. Highly recommended place for a nice pitstop :) This is truly a haven on earth. Beautiful environment of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, very tasteful rooms, nice garden and of course amazing breakfast, cakes and coffee. Urban vibes in the countryside! I know it is a bit spoiled to desire such a place but I confess - this is the dream of the Berliner ;) A magical place to get away from the noise of the city. The food is extraordinary, and the hosts are just very welcoming and open and in general super friendly. Would rate 6 stars if could. Only stayed one night, could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable and very friendly proprietors. Very good breakfast. Because we arrived late and left early the next morning we were unable to enjoy the beautiful pasties displayed. We'll be sure to leave enough time on our next visit to sample several pastries. We're glad that we were the first Americans to experience your hospitality, we hope that we're not the last. For the longest time I was hoping for a cute guest house with comfy rooms and delightful food. Well here you go: Gasthaus Canow checks all the boxes. The location is beautiful with so many lakes and forests just around the house, there’s always freshly baked cake and delicious coffee (by Vote Coffee) as well as lunch and breakfast (dinner coming soon), rooms with a view, and the incredibly warm hosts Auriel and Lea. Overall great place for a rest and exploring the surroundings. Tiny downer was the mass of flies residing in the room that were mostly harmless, though.
