Nice however felt the cost of the was a bit high compared with others in the area. The mats on the top section were well worn Well for my first at the range, I thought it was a lot of fun! My guy took me for a few hours doing something new (for me). value 100 each. I’m a little disappointed that you can’t hire ‘drivers’ at a ‘Driving Range’. But I did get helpful hints from the very friendly bar staff, thank you! Anyway, next I’ll bring my own driver (now on order) :) Weather went from torrential rain to sun. But hey, that’s ok when you’re under cover! Lots of free parking. I door and outside too! Pool tables, darts and 2 bars! Great few hours out. Looking forward to going back. Great with golf. Now got top tracer and ability to order drinks and food for your bay. Can get very busy, upper deck very popular! Prices reasonable. The young girl serving at the reception is so miserable. We went in the attached cafe which isn't run by the staff, on the ground floor. The tried their very best to talk us out of going in and to use theirs upstairs but my friend could clearly not make the stairs and we were made to feel very uncomfortable walking in this cafe, asking "are we allowed in here?!" If you want us to use your facility, employ who smile! It's not hard. The young girl never smiles but is in hospitality! I do very much agree with Samuel Boone who says that prices are extremely overpriced. Especially for 25 which is 7.50 GBP or 14 GBP for 100. I think it has doubled in the last year. However, positively, it is a nice and I love the clever computer system (when it detects the ball). Occasionally, visiting here is but I recommend never getting 25 balls. Just get 100. We did the on our way home from a short break. Photos on the website are from when it was new. Looks nothing like that now. Looks worn out, paint faded, many of the dinosaurs are damaged. Most of the tees to start each hole are damaged so most of your first shots end up shooting into the air. Great fun for an hour but nowhere near enough for the price paid. Expensive for what it is and when we played the indoor mini they should really tell you some of the holes don’t actually involve golfing (you need to use the club as a putter, or use your balance) Great spot reasonably priced now with sports bar. 2 mini golfs great for the little uns! The tracking is fun if you want to 'play' on a famous course, or play some fun target games. However the prices are very expensive and why on earth does a ticket for 25 cost more than half a ticket for 100? A more reasonable price would be £3 per 25 balls, going up in £3 increments. Not everyone wants to come and hit 100 which is still more expensive than most places. So if I've only got 30 minutes I wouldn't go to this place Great fun but expensive for a whole family if you do all 3 activities then eat and drink but it's a great afternoon out. The are so old they’re basically smooth and it’s £7.50 for 25 of them! This is a social club with a trackman system. First here.staff nice, food and drinks to your golfing station. Dive n put mini - extortionate prices first of all! £39 for a family of 4 and calling it is a reach, it’s 11 stops of a simple obstacle to get the ball in the whole, wouldn’t call it at all. They need slots as we had people breathing down our neck as their clearly more interested in taking the money then the participants having fun! Could have done 5 minute slots in between, felt so stressed and rushed. No one was at the reception when I finished to discuss this, just a lady serving at a bar nearby, also online it has darts, pool tables etc advertised in the same sentence, making it seem this is a exiting venue, it’s a medium sized room which 11 stops in, no other activités to be seen. I would suggest £7 max per adult, not worth the money or time. As a goes it's ok . But during a cold spell it can be very unpleasant trying to hit because your hands are cold especially on upper level I would gladly pay to have some kind of heating in bay. Also the new seats are very uncomfortable to sit on they need some kind of padding attached to seats. Has top tracer, but facilities wise its no different to most places and £9.50 for 50 is daylight robbery. Everything is very well used so you can tell the high prices are not being invested back into the facilities. Others have chipping area's and putting greens to where hedge end doesn't. Great place. If you’re going to charge £14 for 100 at least make sure the mats are in a condition and there some tee markers! Toptracer kept picking up shots from other peoples bays which in fairness may not be their fault but it ruined the experience. To top it all off had a member of come round and politely say that the had requested I stop hitting ‘out of the range’. Perhaps the can explain why the netting on the left hand side only covers about 150-200 yards, therefore making it quite easy to hit it beyond this netting if you are in a bay on the left side of the range. This place really has gone down hill, appreciate it has been hot so the grass has suffered, but broken flags, no markings on the floor for target, little information on distances, not though distances would matter with the state of the balls, we’ll get to that! The are absolutely terrible, with many having little to no dimples on them, they must be 5 years old based on the state of them and sun damage. This coupled with the fact it’s £14 for 100 is a joke. This at best is now a social exercise, any form of practice is a wasted effort, as the mat we used had broken so every shot you wanted to play off a tea was below your feet. The tracing was limited and due to the state of the you couldn’t gauge if it was a clean strike from the direction it went or the tracer indicated. This place is fun for kids, with the dinosaur and some indoor golf, but for practice I’d give it a miss. A real shame as they have all the space to create something like Topgolf, and the images online would make you think it was, but the reality is it’s in need of serious investment. On a positive the seemed friendly and I witness them come and collect empty baskets, so let’s hope someone buys this place and injects some money. We drove all the way up there bought 100 and then got told they didn’t have any clubs and only had left handed irons for hire. So I asked for a refund on the 100 I just bought and got refused. Don’t care about their guests what so ever. Id like to also add that we hadn’t even retrieved the yet out of the machine. And yet still refused a refund Why in gods name does a not have clubs for hire. Absolute joke of an establishment and if there was not children around the only logical option I would have to of made was to make a big scene. But unlike this place I have respect Would put 0 stars if i could walked in to see a rude “manager” being cruel to a young female member of made me feel uncomfortable and to see that poor girls face she look so intimidated made me feel sad for her! They course is amazing, but every I come I'm always made to feel uncomfortable, are rude and stuck up. The manager, Mark, constantly makes comments under his breath about all the amazing at Mighty, he makes it so difficult to find there cafe too, not allowing any signs to be put out. Constantly harassing staff, rude, and overall horrible person to deal with. Only go her for Mighty Adventures. Nice facility, pool and mini as well as a Top tracer range. Would not recommend! The at the who i think is called Mark, was rude on numerous occasions, to my family and to others. He allows his to treat customers poorly, as well as the employees of Mighty Adventures next door. Even with full queues of customers, this feels comfortable to belittle members of from another company for no reason! Completely unprofessional, and honestly shocking to witness. Today I took my son to do the which was really fun. We then ventured into the new indoor facility to have a look and the young lad in there was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely try that out soon. We had a look at the sports bar upstairs and got chatting to Jordan behind the bar and decided because he was so helpful, to have a go on the range. We got 100 and hired 2 clubs but Jordan actually lent us his own driver as we were struggling a bit! He was above and beyond and definitely should get the recognition he deserves as my son had such a fun and we will definitely return asap!! Lovely range, however the prices here must of doubled over the last year. 14 pounds for 100 is just insane. £7.50 for 25 is even more insane. To put into perspective you can get 100 at Chilworth for £7.50. It’s a shame as this is the local for me, but coming here just isn’t feasible anymore. Just had the weirdest experience with the person who I beleive is the General at the Hedge end Centre. My 15yo son wanted to take his mate for a try at the so I got them set up and started going into Mighty Adventures as they do great milkshakes. The asked me what I was doing so I explained im just grabbing a milk shake and he told me they do one and was pretty unrelenting in trying to get me to buy one of his. I explained I was fine as i wanted what i wanted but he got proper funny and muttered under his breath something I believe to be telling I couldn't sit somewhere and watch my kids if I didnt buy his milkshake but hey ho i was going to chill in my car anyway. But seriosuly take a chill pill as I will buy a drink wherever I want. What is weirder is I have had the same problem with him before quizzing me if I was using the loos in a weird manner (even though i wasnt) at a when I took the family to mighty adventures. Very strange and very rude so I dont think well be back. Its ok, its not like it used to be. Prices don't bother me as that's for you. Its become more like a social club than a place to practice. Used to be a lot quieter and relaxing environment, not so now. The main reason why I don't go any more is the the mats. I used to go 3 times a week, been once twice in last year. The mats move under your feet which means the ball moves as you transfer energy to the ground. Its for that reason I don't go as don't want to be hitting a moving target. Its become pointless going as a result. :) Would rank 0 stars if I could; not only are the and mats massively outdated and in poor condition, but the amount you have to pay for these to then use on the rundown mats is ridiculous. You’d be much better off going somewhere like Chilworth where the mats are in condition and 100 is only £8, compared to the £14 that hedge end charge. Not to mention the worst thing; the staff. The at hedge end; mark, comes across as the most condescending helmet I’ve ever met. It’s also to see I’m not the only one that feels this way, with the countless other reviews that I’ve read about him. Hedge end is the best place ever, the space you get to hit your is perfect. Also the prices are so and I hope it stays that way for a while.
