Loved my stay at the Tree Inn. It's a very old building, full of history, so the floors won't be level and it's not like a new build box room hotel, so it's quirky and full of history and charm. There is free parking available just down the road, and WiFi throughout. Received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly stay again. The new pizza menu which is yet to be developed is outstanding.. 5 stars from me. But me and the landlord Simon.. we were the guinea pigs to try Roy an Rosa's new square pizza style food... I would love to get the recipes because it's so good. Service was as always spot on, friendly and timely. Great indoor and outdoor eating areas great for children and dogs. Quiet setting, open and friendly staff and patrons. The best in town! We went with the kids for a few drinks and some bar snacks and we were really impressed with the hospitality and service from Simon. A lovely pub that we will book in to and stay over for a night next year so we can sample the rooms and the food too. Thanks Simon, take care. Ate here last night. Appalling. All meals were pre prepared and had been frozen. 3 of the 4 arrived still partly frozen and had to be sent back. Even when reheated was dreadful food.
