This is another great find. The pub is cosy but also spacious, you'd have to visit to understand this 😅 The location is picturesque and plenty of space inside and out to eat and drink. The food is very quality, pub favourites and a variety of dishes. Allergies are catered which is good, the menu is a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Dogs are allowed in the pub which is great news and water is served to those needing a refresher after a walk. Definitely worth a visit here for a relaxing meal and drink. Male toilets are across the courtyard and are just about ok, the ladies was apparently good. But don't let that detract from the over quality of the venue, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the staff were friendly and on hand to assist. We ate here three days running and each time we were completely satisfied. The food we had was excellent each time. The menu is mainly the usual type of pub food but where they excel is that they do it very well indeed. If we had any complaint it would be that the portions are a bit too large - for us anyway. Prices are about average. It seems to be always quite busy so reservations are a idea. Very dog friendly. There are options for where you eat - the bar (where we ate - atmosphere), there is a snug and a more modern restaurant area - which looked quite smart. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to eat with a bit of character. Lovely cozy hidden gem of a pub rich with history dating back to 1300’s and most importantly excellent selection of home cooked food with generous portions. We had sunday lunch here with friends. we chose to sit in the lower bar as it's the oldest and most characterful part of the pub. There is also a big restaurant with great views to the coast. The roast dinners were tasty and portions large. Great value and steady service. Would definitely return. Typical pub grub but with way more flare & attention than most. We, ( my husband, myself and our dog), had Sunday lunch at the Bush Inn while we were on holiday and we were very impressed. I booked a table online, which was very straightforward and when we arrived at the pub we were seated immediately in the lovely restaurant area, with amazing views of the sea. The waitress who was looking after our table was very attentive and pleasant and we ordered our meal. It seamed like our food arrived almost immediately, it was very quick!! The meal was very and the portions huge. We also had a sweet which was equally as good. We were very impressed with the service and the whole experience was amazing. Thank you.
