Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Always something of interest to see from the top of the hill. Shipping, wildlife and the goings on with the motorway. Just love the peace and quiet. This is part of a Viking Cruise. Aside from the fog and rain,it was excellant! What's amazing the history and the age of all the surroundings. It was humbling in a way... Awesome over portsmouth and surrounding areas. Ample parking, could even get a lorry in there, however it does get busy especially with the burger bar, which i might add is delicious, and 24hour. Watch out for sea gulls though. Lovely place to relax and see some beautiful views. Was hoping to see the luna moon but didn't get a good siting while there. Nevertheless, was still beautiful Beautiful place to sit and take in the view. You'll see Portsmouth, Southsea, Hayling etc , even the isle of wight. All spread out in front of you. Night or day it's stunning. Personally I give the food a miss and take mine from nearby food places. While Micks monster burgers is not bad, it is basic , cheap and perfect after a night out. The ice cream van was I'm afraid terrible. Warning. It can get very busy and very noisy up there. You may smell a certain plant at certain times. You may also get some boy racers or motor bikes that are very loud. So while it's beautiful maybe not the best place for neuro spicy kids without ear defenders. There are no disabled parking spots. It's also a great way to watch the fireworks. Great view. Interesting late at night Truly the very best view in the whole if Hampshire. It's a fantastic place to watch a storm roll in. In the evening, Portsmouth really twinkles and looks almost metropolitan 😉!!! Lovely place for a dog walk and Mick's Monster Burgers NEVER dissappoint! Can be quite windy and there isn't any shelter so wrap up warm if it's cold. My wife and I drive up here at times just to watch the world go by and escape the rat-race. It’s great here! There are a lot of on here complaining about the boy racers, but in my experience, they only come after around 7pm, so if they really bother you, come before then! It’s usually quiet around midday. Overall though, I think it’s very nice here, and the boy racers don’t bother me, but that’s probably because I like looking at the cars, but I get that for who aren’t interested, it wouldn’t be very pleasant.
