I stayed at the Locanda for one night with my parents and my sister. The location is very beautiful and the rooms are lovely and clean. We are pretty frequent hikers and this is clearly not a “Rifugio” in the classical terms. 90€ per night per person with dinner and breakfast is way to expensive. The 30€ per person dinner was disappointing in terms of quality and service. We didn’t felt very welcomed from the stuff and had more the impression of being intruders. The biggest disappointment though was when my parents paid: Sergio, the owner made them pay 100€ per person which was not the agreed price. I came back later during the day to ask for clarifications and after trying to find stupid excuses he finally gave us the 40€ difference back. Shame on this greedy people and a true pity as the place is truly beautiful. Great hospitality. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We arrived almost at night with a big group during a bicycle event as it was too late to go any further. Even though we didn’t book the owner was really helpful and he arranged a bed and dinner for everyone! The rifugio is very nice, beds comfortable and the dinner was really good too! Need to come back with a bit more time! We spent a lovely night here after a long day of cycling. Wonderful friendly staff and a beautiful location. The food was delicious, they make a great cappuccino! Would recommend! 65 euro for a bowl of polenta and 2 beers served on paper plates. Stay away !! Cozy mountain refuge, awesome place, incredible views and welcoming people. I totally recommend it, either to sleep or have a grab.
