Great menu, friendly staff. Called in for lunch with a few Touring buddies. We all enjoyed our meals. Loved the little doggos that were welcome and no problem at all. Wish I could come again, but a bit far from Australia. Recommended if you are passing through, Im sure locals already frequent this cafe. After a long walk popped on here. The was excellent especially the carrot cake! Was rather amazed that our decaffeinated tea was served as leaf tea...not bags. That was good to see. Not the cheapest but the quality and portion size were very good. We had a delicious lunch meal here: quiche and salad, and afterwards (the mocha was better than any coffee I’ve had). The lady who served us was also friendly and proactive Do you like coffee, do you like all things sugary and with a french pancake twist? Well look no further than Emma's Deli in Grasmere. Perfect flat white and kids choc fudge crepe. (Try saying that 10 times in a row!) Prices represent good value for money. Staff very pleasant and considering we visited on a Sunday in the school hols, stuff didn't take long to arrive. love the space, freshly made lunches and cakes :) ordered salmon sandwich, quiche, and chicken mushroom all wonderful with generous amount of side dishes 😋 It’s in a nice location right opposite to the bus stop. Nice food and friendly staff. Most important thing of all, after being shocked by the paid public toilet in Bowness plus some other restaurants and hotels in Wintermere, I could tell the restaurant staff here have definitely spent efforts in the toilets hygiene. 5 stars for sure. Will surely be back and recommend it to my friends. Wanna sit outdoors if weather permits next time Very busy cafe in the heart of Grasmere. Manager seemed overwhelmed with what can't be an unusual state of being busy, she kept shooing new customers out to wait in the rain for a table. Food and drink however were good. It was far too busy for the young girl front of house to manage and she was clearly new, another failing of the female manager. Always find emmas dell exceptional with lovely staff and amazing food. I have never left dissapointed. To the previous 2 star review below (nick) I would like to just say reviews like this should not be allowed, all because they couldn't fit you in. Have you heard yourself?. Blocking walkways also compromises safety for staff and other customers. Maybe you would understand when a hot chocolate lands on your head. STOP! leaving bad reviews just because you don't get your own way.
