The number of regulat flavours were reasonable and ice was of average quality, we’ve had richer blends elsewhere as we seek out Artisan Ice products when out & about on our travels across the UK. Reasonable portions, maybe a little expensive . Two scoops in a tub £4.80. Outside, picnic bench seating with pleasant views in quiet countryside setting with grassed space for children to run & play. Inside seating and tables also available. Ice was good, outside was to be expected being in a rural area. Our kids enjoyed the swings and sun The ice is really nice , if you think to go there just for the indoor please keep in mind is not the cleanest ( birds dropping) Easy to park and a very friendly welcome. The warm cafe was most welcome on a chilly February afternoon. The service was prompt and attentive which, together with reasonable prices, made the visit a joy. As for the ice cream, a great range of flavours available. Those I enjoyed were luxurious, creamy and very tasty. Staff are great here and the ice is the best I've tasted! There is plenty of seating outside with an outdoor for fair weather days, and often the cows are in the fields to look at. There is also a calf viewing area. If the weather is not too great, there is also ample indoor seating and an indoor for children. Good amount of parking and toilet/baby changing facilities. There is also a loft room available to hire for functions. The prices for the ice are very reasonable indeed given the high quality. I always make a point of visiting when I am in the on holiday.
