Nice little bit of history, with lovely tea rooms. Good and hot chocolate, nice food and a reasonably priced children's 'packed lunch's. Definitely worth a visit if you have an hour to kill. They also have craft and food fairs, and outdoor cinema events. Their bug trail is a great little activity for the kids too. Had a cream tea with friends. They sat us in one of the old "buttery" room, great setting and the food was fresh and very tasty. The lady was very polite and cheerful. We all enjoyed the experience, will return soon. A lovely visit, not too much to do and interactive tools weren't working but a nice location to visit after the boating lake. There is a safe open area for the children. The cafe was very friendly, tasty and priced well. The resident cat "Molly" was great with young children, making their day. We'll return again soon Visited here as there was a delightful Food Market event on. There was a dog show in the afternoon but I did not attend that. The Manor house is small but quaint with a Tea Room/coffee shop intwined throughout. Toilet facilities for the disabled downstairs; more toilets upstairs. And seating outside. Used the venue to meet a mate during current restrictions. Excellent anti covid arrangements were in place, food and was excellent and at a sensible price. Staff were extremely polite and helpful and setting/layout was very comfortable. Will go back when I can. Grabbed a quiet lunch at the Raspberry Tea Room yesterday and was very impressed. Lovely calming atmosphere with a variety of old time music in the background as you watch your food being lovingly prepared in front of you. Delicious locally sourced ingredients are used to make food that seems quite traditional of a Welsh tea room. Flavorsome with finishing touches that make all the difference. Particularly liked the Welsh cream tea - with real clotted cream! Yum! I plan to return ASAP. A beautiful period property, maintained by CADW I believe, that has a small shop inside. Entry was free and we ordered and a tea cake. Tea cake was lovely as was the coffee. My only gripe is they were served one size only and after you waded through the foam on the Cappucino there wasn't a lot of actual coffee. Around the Manor there was lots to explore with plenty of signs to denote what you were looking at. I'd say a great morning or afternoon out for a family or history enthusiast. Large grounds suitable for picnics, even with picnic blankets available to borrow make this a great destination for a cheap day out. Closed as expected for this time of year. Came here for an afternoon tea for my birthday back in January, and it was lovely and they accommodated for our dietary requirements. It's also the perfect place to pop to for a cup of tea and slice of cake. I'd like to come here for one of their open air cinema nights. Went to Llanyravon Manor for a Victorian Christmas fayre and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go again. The manor house was only open for toilet and very rude staff , Victorian market was good but not made welcome by manor workers What a lovely, peaceful oasis. Live only a few miles away and didn't know it existed. Spent a few relaxing hours with family enjoying refreshments and where our young grandchildren could run around and play safely. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Sadly now closed Has become very popular in the last couple of years with local craft fairs held regular during spring and summer. Hundreds of people visited 13th April this year to join the tug or war and see the traditional Welsh dancers and singers. Great snacks in the cafe as always. Interesting places for explorers, plenty for kids, dogs welcome too.
