This is very ruined, as in just some short walls remain such that you can almost make out an outline of the building. But you're in a nice shady forested area overlooking the valley below. And the new is right nearby so the short walk to Alt-Lichtenstein is well worth it. Would not recommend it for young children as there is no safety fencing around the cliff. Small and beautiful at the hilltop. Hiking to the top is bit hard as its steep but very refreshing. Awesome view of autumn colors. Guided tour is €14 for an adult and is the only way to get into the actual tower. There is a reduced rate of €8 for children and another reduced rate for €12 assembly for elderly or students. The guided tour is only in German however there is a brief version of the main points in a leaflet. Amazing view, history and atmosphere. The guided tours are worth every penny.
