Stopped in to get coffee and have a seat on the terrace it was a lovely sunny day and lots of people were around with their dogs. Water is supplied for the dogs which I'm sure is appreciated by both pooches and their owners. The staff in the cafe are friendly and very capable, the coffee was good and the food looked lovely. I did not eat that on this occasion but will definitely go back and do so. Woodlands Cafe is a fantastic spot for relaxation and refreshment, especially after a run along the bay. The location is ideal, offering a peaceful atmosphere where visitors can cool off and enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights of this cafe is its *convenient parking*, making it easily accessible for both locals and travelers. The environment is welcoming, with *friendly people* contributing to the overall pleasant experience. A standout feature of *Woodlands Cafe* is its free access to *drinking water and milk*, which adds to the comfort and convenience for guests. Whether you're stopping by for a quick break or spending some time enjoying the scenery, this small yet thoughtful amenity enhances the experience. The *clean ocean air* makes this place even more special, allowing visitors to breathe deeply and feel rejuvenated. The combination of *a great location, fresh air, and friendly service* makes Woodlands Cafe a top choice for those looking to unwind by the bay. If you appreciate a laid-back atmosphere with simple yet essential comforts, this cafe is definitely worth a visit. Really lovely food recommended to all. Great selection also. My husband, myself and 2 lively Yorkies had lunch here today. There was lots of variety on the menu and all of the food on display )scones, desserts, tray bakes etc.) looked fresh and scrummy. We had a panini and portion of skinny fries between us: the panini came with salad & coleslaw and the portion of fries was huge. All of the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and took the time to come over and make friends with the dogs. Tables were cleared very quickly and the service was excellent. Only one word of caution - go easy on the ‘mains’ if you want to leave room for a dessert. We’d thoroughly recommend here to anyone. Phenomenal adult food. I had the falafel pitta and it was amazing - loads of different elements and absolutely huge. The ingredients felt high quality and it was really tasty. I was really impressed. If the kids’ food has been as good, it would be an easy five stars. We chose sausage and chips and I expected it to come with some form of vegetable side - it felt unhealthy, especially compared to the adult plates that were full of colour and veg! The children’s menu wasn’t on display so we made a quick verbal choice after asking what was on offer so maybe that’s why I didn’t realise ahead of time. My favourite place to get a coffee and a traybake can easily stop in from the beach with the dog and its got gluten free range ! This is a wonderful cafe. We stopped for lunch after a circular walk through the country park and along the coast. The service was quick and the food was amazing. I had a falafel pitta pocket which came with masses of salad , hummus & sweet potato fries. My only criticism would be there were no wasp traps so they were having a field day which was a shame as wasp traps can be really effective and you could see a lot of people were being bothered by the pesky things 🐝 Lovely little cafe with fabulous food, hope you got big bellies for the big cakes they have to offer, breakfasts are fantastic. Can't wait to come back to try the lunchtime menu Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
