Good and beers. Didn't eat there but I've been told the meals are great. Consider booking for a meal. It can get busy. A must visit. Love this little place and the view. Staff are super and welcoming having a laugh from the second you meet them. The place is a nice and neat venue with bistro and sports bar (if you’re lucky you’ll meet the chap in Bully (legend) Bistro has a wonderful view of the lake with outdoor and indoor sitting. Staff were being attentive and with good country hospitality. We had the oysters, frutti de mare, steak and salmon. All were delicious and such a good compliment with the wine selection. All were sizeable and cooked well. We came back the following night for a wine and watching the sun go down in this little place whilst in loch sport. Thanks to the team there especially the Canadian / Dutch lad behind the bar and the ladies in the restaurant! Best Korean Chef around. Staff are pleasant & helpful. Food 10/10 Updated review Dec 2022 Dinner - the bistro was alive with plenty of customers and staff. Holiday Season menu. Still food and service We had Arancini for entree - delicious and hot Salt and pepper squid - tasty and tender with a lovely tartare sauce and a light summer slaw Classic Snitz and chips with the summer slaw, big Snitz that was delicious, freshly made and cooked to perfection, the addition of the gravy side adds a dip for the chips. ——- Review from mid 2022 - 5 star then Great Service and food Scotch Steak with prawns Garlic Prawns Both fresh, tasty and high quality Ah, the Marina Hotel - the culinary lighthouse of Loch Sport! 😄 Let me tell you about this waterfront wonder where the portions are as generous as the gossip. Picture this: you're sitting there, gazing out at the glistening waters of the lake, while wrestling with a schnitzel the size of a small continent. Being the only public eatery in town, it's basically the United Nations of Loch Sport - where locals and tourists alike gather to debate life's greatest mysteries, like whether fish are actually biting today. The menu is a choose-your-own-adventure of comfort food, with daily specials that keep things interesting (because even in a small town, you can't eat the same parma every day!). And let me tell you, they keep the place cleaner than a neat freak's kitchen on inspection day. I particularly love how they've managed to be both a proper pub and a family-friendly establishment - quite a feat when you think about it. It's like that friend who can hang out with both your grandma and your rowdy mates without missing a beat. Look, it might not be Gordon Ramsay's latest venture, but it's got something better - authentic charm and reliable good times. And in a town where dining options are about as numerous as palm trees in Antarctica, the Marina Hotel doesn't just meet expectations - it serves them up with a side of genuine hospitality. Would I recommend it? Well, unless you're expecting a three-hat fine dining experience (in which case, mate, you took a wrong turn about 300 kilometers ago), you're in for a treat. Just remember to bring your appetite - those portion sizes don't mess around! Went to the Marina on grand final day and most of us ordered a Parma with chips and salad. My only regret, was not going up to the chef and thanking him for the best Parma I’ve ever had in my life and everyone else agreed! - this Parma wasn’t like a lot of places where they just deep fry a thin bit of from the box, it was real breast, crumbed and it was huge! The love to make these ones were incredible. Hats 🎩 off to the chef and his team. I did notice the reviews aren’t 5 but it’s very hard to get a 5 star review rating in food. Who knows, maybe it’s a new cooking staff, regardless, these guys are like master chef 🧑🍳- can’t wait to come back👍👍👍 The pub is situated right on the lake with a fabulous view. The seafood platter was recommended as a lunch at the hotel so we went with that. A pub style menu, the were super and attentive. We were there in late November so not many people around and not much atmosphere but a quiet spot for a bevie and a lunch. We wanted the view so we went during the day. Pub prices $34 for a seafood platter and the seafood was local caught at lakes entrance. thanks for having us. I had a fantastic experience here! The T-bone steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The were warm and attentive, adding to the atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. And the view? Absolutely stunning! I highly recommend this spot, especially for the meat lovers—you won’t be disappointed! Excellent place , can't fault We had a fantastic Mother's Day lunch at Lakeview Bar and Bistro. The food was delicious, the were all very friendly, the kids played in the sand and we enjoyed the spectacular views. $35 for this satay that was not only disappointing in size, but burned to a crisp on one side of the wafer thin piece of chicken, and barely cooked on the other side, satay sauce just tasted like lemongrass, rice was overcooked. Got the feeling it was microwaved as well as it was extremely hot and the was rubbery. Went in the bin. Oh my goodness...best fish and chips I have ever had. So good, we came back the next night for more. The are so friendly, the food was outstanding. I cannot rate their fish highly enough - thick slabs of fish in a crunchy and light batter. Spectacular (and I never thought I would use that word to describe food!) pub, food, views. Ther service is just WOW and of course the food is 😊👌 It was delicious please add the zesty salmon risotto to the menu permanently in perfect as always when we go Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
