Charming little museum where you can learn everything about what is living in the air, forests, fields and under water in the canton of Vaud. It attracts "bobo"-s with their children that thrive in the gardens for educational birthday parties. At present, end of November 2024, there is a magnificent exposition on the Swiss photographer Michel Roggo, specializing in taking underwater photos in lakes, rivers and other freshwater sources, like glaciers, from all around the globe. We had the fortune to visit when he gave his first of three conferences, presenting a collection of his photographs with a great sense of humor. Don't miss his upcoming presentations, scheduled for January and March 2025 respectively!! A nice secret spot to go with friends and have a cold beer in the terrace and a nature walk. Nice place to take your class for some activities and picnic! Very friendly people A very well thought out nature museum especially for kids. Don’t go there to learn too much science but the kids will have a great time. The activities, creative and technical were really appreciated. The aquariums are well kept and the staff is adorable. Excellent museum with lots of information about the region through time that proves interesting for all ages. In the surrounding area there are plenty of nature walking paths. Staff are friendly and speak English and French Small and affordable. Couple it with a walk in woods and a picnic by the lake for a great morning /afternoon. Muséum in French only. Excellent little exibition of nature, exploration and ecology. The submarine is the highlight, but aquariums and interactive material are very nice as well. Lovely little museum with loads of interesting information and displays. The website recommends walking there along the lakeshore from Morges and that is an absolutely stunning route, especially when you're out of the town and can hear the lake lapping against the shore.
