The water is extremely brisk, as it comes directly from the Alps, but can be very refreshing on a hot and sunny day. A really nice beach, where you can go for a dip. Like most of Lausanne it is very clean When we were there it wasn't crowded at all, people were enjoying the sun, taking sun baths while reading a book or talking to friends.
