More sheltered than the others around Biarritz, so a little better for swimming. It's down quite a bit below street level so steps or a steep ramp have to be navigated. We still managed fine with a buggy and a 2 and a half year old though. Nice restaurants and cafes immediately around it also and a lovely area close to shops etc. Great if you want to relax and swim a bit. During the afternoon the sea is very calm and the water is great. There is a restaurant and free toilet as well. The is the smallest in the town that can be used for swimming. It's probably the safest as it's sheltered from the Atlantic unless the swell is really big so it is good for families. It also has a jumping in point but only open at high tide.
