Oasis...an apt name for this super chilled out and relaxed venue. We had just had food an hour before stopping by, so we only had a couple of beers. Next time we might have something to eat. Today was 28c, just beautiful given its the 12th December. We sat with a perfect view of the lagoon and relaxed in the sun. The owner asked if we wanted any umbrellas for shade, which we declined. He also engaged in conversation with us, telling us about the two turtles that live in the lagoon. That little extra effort is really appreciated and makes your custom feel valued. I had a bottle of Estrella Galicia, and my partner had a bottle of Mahou Classica. 33cl and €2 each. The owner also brought us a little dish of complimentary crisps, which is a nice touch. When we lived in the Canary Islands previously, we used to be plied with salted peanuts all the time, we love that combo! This was the first time we have been given snacks in the Peninsuala. We were delighted they were not olives as we both hate then! We have a motorhome and we would have loved to have parked it at the front gate and spend an evening drinking. Unfortunately they are not open at night, otherwise that would have been fun without having to get a taxi home. If you're looking for an extremely chilled out experience, with the odd passing train to make you smile, then this is highly recommended. Next time we are back and eating, we will upload photos of the menus and so on. I had to change my review, we was about 15-20 people who came unannounced. The burgers was great, tasty and very good. I ate one Nordic Bagel, it was also very good 👌 The staff worked very hard, excellent service. I would go again but not for an omelette. New toilet facilities lacked any facility to dry the hands after washing. This was my second visit and I will definitely return. What could be better than eating lovely food in such a lovely spot? The music adds to the fantastic experience and the price was very reasonable too. Overall a way to spend a couple of hours enjoying the sunshine, food and tranquility. Very highly recommended and a must visit if you're in the area.
