Played the Swailend course early August. Flying in ( no cart) used their electric hand carts but still very hilly. Maybe get a buggy for this one. The Swailend course is quite a walk from the club house. Lots of ups and down holes. Course overall in good condition. Greens, tee boxes and fairways great. Course very busy as it was a Friday. Midweek recommended. It is a relatively affordable range. The is connected to Trackman application, which enable us to track our shots. Not many people even during weekends. Facilities are well managed and clean. Just one complaint is that the practice mat is a bit old, might need to be replaced soon. Highly recommended practice place. Newmacher is my favorite so far on my epic 45-day trip to Scotland. I played my first senior open here, shot a respectable 80 and only lost by two shots. Had a lovely time here when I joined my daughter's class for a school trip. Everyone we met was very friendly and made it fun and informative for the children. The grounds and clubhouse are clean and very well kept. They are trying to make accessible for all which is highly commendable. I thoroughly enjoyed having a shot on the for the first time and will definitely return with the family. Keep up the good work guys. Great course, lovely clubhouse Best club in the world with 2 of the best courses in Scotland Noticed that the has a short term for irons, a slightly longer one and a very long yellow tee. Missing the tees which suit drivers. Asked if they had any, was told by one person they should be there and their team will check. An hour later, was told they had checked. Went back to pro shop was told that these orange tees never existed 10 minutes later I had the grounds man pop In the back and he found these mysterious orange tees which don't exist. A which doesn't invest in simple tee selection. You will always be told that no one ever complained before. I have complained about the trackman malfunctions on four occasions now. When I ask others around me they are all having the same issues. People here just don't want to ask or complain about anything. This is a which advertised itself as using trackman. The trackman is a selling point for this range. Why can't you guys just get it to work properly .. It malfunctions especially on colder days. And even the other day it only registered 30-40 percent of my shots Yes I tried multiple bays .and yes I restarted the application many times to no avail. There is no point in a business listening to customers complaints and not acting upon them. The Hawkshill Championship Course offers a serious challenge, with plenty of water hazards and bunkers to test even the most seasoned golfers—perfect for those seeking a great game. Swailend, while still challenging, provides a more relaxed round with beautiful scenery to enjoy. The club offers everything you could need: buggies, club hire, and electric trolleys are all available, and the pro shop has a superb selection of gear with incredibly friendly staff. The Trackman is top-notch, and I loved the convenience of contactless payment. After a round, the clubhouse offers stunning views over the course and a great menu.
