Only here you can see Bears, Wolfs and Buffalo living next to each other. Don't forget your best camera and field glasses to miss no moves or details. 😊 Great little destination for a meal, a refreshing snack /beverage. Nice play ground for kids, petting with goats, and viewing for wolves, bison, and eagles. We stopped for about 3 hours, lovely afternoon. Gift shop too. I've visited this twice and I really like it! It's not huge, but I feel like the smaller size means the receive better care and attention. It's always nice to watch the having a snack. There's also a petting zoo across the road with a collection of adorable goats which you can feed. A great place to bring kids to in summer! Nice little zoo to see bears, wolf and bizon. The entrance is cheap. Good and the worker are friendly but no too much animal A wonderful for those who love bears. The has other too, but not many - two wolves, some bisons, some goats and lamas. But the are the stars of the show. There are two cubs with their mum in one (a big space that is set in the wilderness of the Jura National park), then there are two other in the second - one is a real fun as he likes to stand on the tree stump to observe the surroundings - a poser and an explorer. His compatriot, the second bear int he is more of a quiet creature, just lying leisurely on the grass. The third has only one bear - a restless soul, or perhaps a stressed one as he walks up an down the same path, looking somewhat unhappy. The last has a bear that likes to hide and observe people from the safety of his 'nest' up on the slope of a mountain. All you can see is his face. The are supposed to be in the same but they were nowhere to be seen during out visit. The bisons were also absent, maybe went for a long walk to a different pasture. The area is big and the enclosures are connected between each other with wooden bridges so the visitors can observe the from a safe distance but close enough to admire them. Lamas and goats are in a completely separate area near the restaurant. The restaurant serves good lunches, mostly meaty ones, so vegetarians will find it difficult to choose anything edible. There are many dishes with bison meat. The interior of the restaurant is a Swiss rustic one and the personnel is friendly and speak English. Joli endroit à visiter, avec ou sans enfant 😊 Endroit idéal pour pour se promener et prendre de l'air. Restaurante très bien rapport qualité prix. La serveuse étais très amiable, serviable et gentille. Les enfants ont adoré. Visited while on holiday and it was the highlight of the trip. The Parc is arranged so visitors can stroll along a raised wooden walkway and look into enclosures on either side (though one half is just for the bison and donkeys. The other half is split into smaller enclosures, about 6-8, each with either or bears. These enclosures exist due to the presence of a vegetated cliff at the back, creating a natural barrier, and the walkway at the front. Due to being in the mountain top valley, full of grass, shrubs, trees and plants, and not having any roof, the are effectively in their natural habitat. There are no buildings or cages, just open air and a fenced walkway. The enclosures are large (compared to most zoos), so the do not seem as encased and therefore freer to roam. The have a natural cave in the cliff wall. A very natural feeling zoo indeed. The did not look distressed, though obviously this is still a zoo. We did not witness the restless pacing by the walls / glass you see in so many zoos. Instead we witnessed stretching, and wandering around casually, talking a dip in the ponds, and foraging for food. The design is perfect, and seeing these in their natural habitat while still being able to see them clearly, a truly fantastic experience. Went there when it was raining and cold. Kids enjoyed it. Went mid week and wasn't busy. Probably 20% too expensive, but was ok. Lots of sleep as it was cold and winter. Probably better in summer. Perfect for kids. The and are literally in spitting distance ( do not spit on them!) Kids loved it. In the morning the place was empty which really made all the more enjoyable. We walked from Le Pont gare to Jura Parc which is about 3km. The zoo has bears, wolfs, Bisons, and other small animals. A animal park. Easy access with ♿ and pushchairs. Vraiment sympa. Merci pour votre gentillesse. We had a great time there. The spaces seem a bit for a Bear and 2 to 3 in each space, but i am no expert. The seemed healthy and happy. Especially the last Bear on the far end of the space. If you want to spend 40CHF (2 adults and 2 childrens tickets) to see only 3 bears, this is your place, otherwise stay away from this place. All the you can see from outside and only for 3 you pay the entrace fee. The place itself is ok, but compared what you get (olny 4 type of animals) is a rubbery, My recommandation is to stay outside, enjoy the playground and the restaurant and the nice sourinding, but don't buy the entrance ticket. A remarkable variety of mosses in walking distance up the hillside starting from the farm grounds. Find two distinct species in all three closeups attached… Bon accueil, souriant Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
