Really place to take your dog. Clean and tidy and Our doggo absolutely this field! She ran more here than in any other dog we've used, and we've used many. She's not a big swimmer but really enjoyed exploring the pond and she really the hanging tug toys. So it's 5 stars from doggo... For us as humans it's a and we'd definitely use it again but compared to several others we've used that include a shelter for wimpy humans on rough days, and some that even provide tea and coffee facilities there's a few things that would really tip the edge to 5 stars. Clean, nicely set up with benches and easy to park. waiting system and people generally seem to be at leaving on time. Signage is a bit last minute so slow down when you are approaching as the entrance is quite hidden. Calvin's is a nice enclosure unlike most, it has the facility for your dog to swim, which my boy, absolutely loves. High fences and large gates. A environment to let your furbabies run free without worry. The second Yogi's has more of an agility element so for that like to run about and have high energy this is a field. place for the hound to run 1 - Well signposted, spacious parking set back nicely from the road. Lovely, established, natural looking grassy area but overall very small compared to other dog fields. There is no 'airlock' parking area as with a lot of other dog fields. The parking area has no gate other than the entrance gate to the so you can't get away with parking up and letting the out straight away as they could well head out onto the road. Clean - no dog poo left behind. There are poo bags provided inside the which is handy. It's a shame the session is only 50minutes; as we were leaving there was someone waiting which means that they probably got an hour for their money rather than the 50mins I had having arrived and left when I was supposed to. Muddy - gloriously muddy. Wear boots! It's also on a slope so grippy footwear would be sensible. Dogs had lots of fun and enjoyed splashing through the big puddle in the middle of the as well as swimming in the pond to fetch sticks. Although it's small, the mature trees down one side if the and little thicket of bushes around the big puddle in the middle (great for the to chase around) make for a really nicely appointed space. Line of sight is broken up well, and the can get between the hedges around the edge and the fence to have a sniff and explore. There's a high, grass bank and a couple of benches for us humans, one under the shade of the trees and the other in the open at the top of the field. Had a at Calvin's on the weekend! One of the best enclosed we have been too and as you can see on the videos, the dog very much enjoyed the offlead too! It is very size, and with it being fully enclosed, we had no worries about our dog who was on a big sniffing mission and the water! The pathway to the was very helpful for my mum who is disabled and she was able to enjoy her day as well by sitting on the benches. Very clean, and well kept. Will definitely book again! Two fields, loads of room for to run around and play without the worry of meeting anyone, ideal for nervous or un-socialised doggo's! There's all kinds of things for them (and you) to play on and seating for the owners. it. once inside. The pond is lovely & muddy! Lottie that.. Buddy not so keen 😊 Could do with a gate across where u for Calvin's so the minute the are out. Poo bags in case you forget or run out and bins provided. Theres a portaloo nearby but not sure if for the use of dog visitors? Have also used Yogis next door to Calvin's and that's too. Agility equipment and a scurry run. Trees and things for the to explore round. field, you do need to and put on leads to walk up to it though, only a few minutes and we never met anyone else around the area. reactive dog friendly playing fields. Private hire through website. Quick and easy to do. It's not just "a field" there is water, trees, hilled areas and sniffy areas parking with main car as well as two sections of parking for each field, very easy to find. Plenty of signage. We booked Yogi’s Place and it was great. A wide range of obstacles to do including, a tunnel, bouncy rope swing, wooden planks and more. We had fun and it’s a place to keep the training/having fun in a environment without distractions (fencing surrounds the with more outside). Possibly on the steeper side for pricing but you can make it well worth it. Well kept and poo bags there on hand for everyone to use which keeps it extremely clean. Great in weather as there are a couple ponds next door, so makes for a tranquil atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to dog lovers. Calvin's - what a game changer! Thanks so much to thefab team for your support as I checked out the and am now a true convert. With two active dogs, one of which sadly has no recall, this has proven to be such a release for him to run around and play. He did spend the first 20 minutes in each investigating for exit routes. However, now when we arrive, he chills and has so much fun! Now a regular event in our week! Only once have I found dog mess not cleared up. And don't worry if you forget bags as the has plenty close at hand! We love it there,my dog loves the freedom he has to be offlead all the and I don't worry about him getting out as it is totally enclosed☺️ Brilliant, and place to let your dog run free. 2 different depending what your dog prefers. Calvin's has a big puddle, a clay pond and quite a few trees, Yogi's place has agility equipment, tree's and a tin hut to shelter from the rain. Both have benches to sit on while are playing. Both are and secure. Highly recommended both. It was my first visiting Calvin’s fields. Booking, payment and the website was really easy to use. We got a very detailed email with everything we needed to know. I that we got multiple reminders leading up to our slot. My two absolutely the field, we normally book dog for my Cane Corso as he can react to other dogs, and this is for him to be off lead in a and environment. We had the best and also had his first swim! My springer also the water! We will definitely be returning! After a friend recommended Calvin’s we visited maybe a couple of months ago on a Saturday morning. Was still dark but felt & secure. We both it. Odin is a water baby so was thrilled to see the pond. Spends ages picking out sticks & logs & putting them on the grass. Whatever makes him happy! He had such a (whined for most of the journey home) so double booked it for the following Monday so he could take his time, explore & enjoy. We use it now every week. We use walks all the but have to say that others that use it are clearly respectful as I’ve never once found a rogue poo. Other paddocks (PP) are covered in poo! This place is everything you’d want. Massive added bonus is the lovely owner who has been nothing but friendly, helpful & just awesome. Thank you x Lovely place. it . Very and lovely to just be able to let them run free . Absolutely brilliant although a little muddy, but what do you expect at this of year. My two the field, the obstacle was brilliant and the tunnel was class my running through that and popping out the other side of the mound. We had a and will definitely be back as it will be amazing in the summer months. It was my first taking my whippet to a private and what a experience it was! This is so big and in a nice quiet place away from the madness! The area was absolutely spotless and perfect for my nervous dog to run off all his energy!
