[Updated] My son is now 12 y/o, hence just booked him for PADI Advanced. And yet again - Divecrew is the safe pair of hands while learning crucial skills for deep waters. Absolutely great for my 10 old and myself doing the Open Water Diver course in Bracknell. Highly recommend. All questions answered in such a way, that we can actually understand and also remember! - Many Thanks to the whole of Divecrew! From the day that I rang Divecrew and spoke to Sue, to yesterday where I officially passed my PADI Open Water and SSI Dry Suit courses has been phenomenal! I have visited the a few times now and they have an amazing working there, im always welcomed, always asked if I would like a cuppa tea or coffee. Always listened too and assisted in the best way possible, its a breath of fresh air to actually get decent people advising on the best gear to use that suits your needs and isn't the latest and greatest most expensive thing! Anything they might not have in stock will soon be ordered for you straight away, and even then you don't have to purchase it there and then. PADI Open Water - This was run by Sean. WOW what a great instructor and always happy to provide tips, tricks and any advice inbetween to make you a better diver! I was super pleased and had a great laugh during training. Weekend Qualifying Dives - For the 2 days (Saturday & Sunday) qualifying we dived at Wraysbury and Vobster. First of all the the sites were great so glad Vobster was last because the water visibility was 10M+ and I saw so much more there. Secondly the team, this was a hard hitting power duo cute-y by the name of James & Rowan! These guys were amazing! Super funny, always cracking jokes, learnt loads from these guys and their of experience, from staying warmer in dry suits, preventing leakages, NEW hand signals, recommending hot chocolates, and most of all how to dive! Because of these two alone im already wanting to book other courses and learn more from them! I really enjoyed absorbing these guys' knowledge and everything they had to offer! THANK YOU SO MUCH DIVECREW!! I will be back to do more and look forward to with your crew in the future, I feel part of the Divecrew family now that you guys have spent growing :) thank you! My shooting tank needed a retest. At 30 old it was touch and go. Unfortunately it failed and I expected to be just collecting my valve gear and paying for a test for a tank I no longer had. Such things are part of the risk of owning PCP guns and tanks. To my utter amazement when they rang me to give the bad news they asked if I would like a used replacement for the price of the test of the failed test. And when I arrived (they are 30 off miles from me) there was a replacement tank with my valve gear on and filled to boot - and at exactly the price they quoted. What superb service and what a happy day it was when I found them. Thank you so much. Really friendly, helpful local centre. Shehab did my refresher and Richie did my AOW course. Both were brilliant. They also have a selection of kit for sale in the shop, and you can ask for advice without feeling you are getting the hard-sell routine. And you always get offered a cup of tea when you stop by, sometimes even a doughnut if your timing is good! :-) Went in today after a recommendation from The Aldershot Dolphins (Did a Try with them) and Sue was a brilliant help in explaining what everything did, what to look out for, and giving general advice with any questions I or my father had. Will definitely be back after my BSAC course I just made my first purchase from Divecrew and I needed a LOT of help choosing the right equipment. Fortunately for me, the at Divecrew (and special shout out to Shani) really know their stuff and bent over backwards to ensure I got just the right gear. After an initial phone call, Shani went off and actually researched the best options and sent me an email with each of her recommendations and why. Outstanding. This was way beyond what I expected and I am extremely grateful to Divecrew for their exemplary, first class customer service. After chatting to the very helpful Alex over the phone this morning I visited the shop where we were looked after by Charlie. She was very knowledgeable and patient. At no point during the 45 mins she spent with us as we tried on/fitted various pieces of kit did i feel at all rushed. I am satisfied that we came away with the equipment we needed. A very experience! My daughter just completed her qualifying open water dives with Martin. He was absolutely wonderful with her, she has autism and he was very patient and calm with her which was just what she needed. Prior to the 2 days of we went to the where Martin took her through a power point showing her exactly what to expect, where we would be meeting, the skills she would cover and what she could expect to see. All the staff were really lovely, kitting her up and respecting her when things were getting too much. Can’t recommend enough. The book erodes was really good, overall just a very experience. The Master Instructors are charged by the owners with maintaining the centre's high standards and reviewing how they can further develop and enhance the centre's offerings. In the you will always, should you require it, receive expert advice about courses, equipment, holiday venues, UK recreational in quarries and the sea and equipment servicing. Divecrew continually strives to deliver the best service possible. The staff are engaging, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. I am been on many Divecrew holidays over the years, they are well led and managed and most of all the Divecrew spirit comes through and everyone has a rewarding and enjoyable experience. If you want to progress to professional status then there is no where better than Divecrew. Their Master Instructors are highly experienced across a range of diver agencies. There is a mentoring scheme if you want to embark on the Divemaster programme, you get an assigned instructor. The MIs regularly assess the in the classroom, in the pool and in open water to ensure clients receive the best possible and that the high standards set are maintained. Exceptionally they run Master Class - both theory (classroom based) and practical (pool and open water) for trainee Divemasters right through to senior instructors. This learning far exceeds the information found in diver agency manuals and courses. The Divecrew never stops learning and that the owners Sue and Martin invest so much time and effort into making Divecrew 'simply the best' is impressive. So I teach for fun, it is my hobby, is my passion BUT I am a free agent and I can teach wherever I want. My choice is to teach at Divecrew I maybe be an instructor but I am also a customer, I go on holidays, as a customer, with Divecrew -I buy all my kit with Divecrew - I do all my in Divecrew. Put simply you will NOT find a better in the UK than Divecrew - try it out, you won't regret it. The instructors were always calm, gave clear instructions, repeated explanations etc. They are clearly passionate about what they do and genuinely seem to want to pass on their knowledge and enthusiasm. Our daughters completed their open water dives at Wraysbury with Steve and Richie and had a brilliant time. I was completely happy and confident at all times for them to be under the instruction of any of the Divecrew team. If you're thinking about doing a course (PADI, SSI etc) I recommend you use them.
