The are well informed and approachable and the cost is definitely a bargain for what you get It's only open to the public for specific experiences and days so you must buy your ticket in advance. We visited for a 2 hour owl experience. It was amazing. We got to handle 5 different sorts of and flew 2 of them. The manager led the session and was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I'd this unreservedly. It is a really good place to to see and observe some fantastic of prey. Watching them flying around the arena, they are truly majestic in flight. Well worth the visit, also the nearby cafe offered choices and nice coffee. Brilliant little place! Lots of different of prey and the are really friendly and knowledgeable. Got to and touch a few different and insects too. Nice size for anyone with special needs/ASD as it's not too overwhelming. What made it special was the young man who told us all about the we handled. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. It was evident he enjoyed his job and I expect he's recounted the talk hundreds of times, yet he made it so interesting and fun. Good job 👏 Really lovely little place that is only open to the public on open days. The are clearly well looked after and cared for. This is not your usual zoo type attraction. The talks were informative, though a little short. But the were quite happy to answer any questions anybody had and have a chat. Well worth a visit. We have been for an day in the past and they are even better. My wife and I have visited here before and its we would highly coming here for the Open Days or an event / which varies in time e.g 20 minutes 45 minutes etc where you have the opportunity to interact with the and ask the keeper questions about them, we had the Skunk event on this day where we held 8 week old Skunk kittens and took loads of photos it was and educational and very smelly the kittens kept on spraying lol its best to book in advance for these smaller events which are advertised on the web site or on Face book. There is a cafe on site and a small garden which we both worth a visit, there is Blue badge parking near the entrance and its a large car park, toilets are available on site near the cafe. It was to the place in one of their open days. The was very friendly and the and all the were very attractive. It was lovely to see some of the flying in their show. Perfect for a family day out! An absolutely fantastic afternoon spent doing the owl experience. Plenty of opportunities to and interact with the different owls, lots of information given to us about them and it was amazing to see them up close. Highly recommend! Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! Had an AMAZING time here, went for my best friends birthday and did the Rare and Endangered and got to handle and see lots of amazing animals, including the baby foxes! The member guiding us was super friendly and lovely, and it was well worth the money spent. Would 100% come here again. Did one of their days with my Dad this weekend. Fantastic day. Learned a lot and enjoyed being able to the birds. Highly a visit! I think we’ll go back to see the other at the on one of their open days if possible. A slight heads up, one of the flights of the involved having an owl fly to you and being able to hand feed it some raw chicken. The chap did ask if anyone wasn’t comfortable with touching the raw chicken piece. Normally I wouldn’t be comfortable without immediately washing my hands (which would have been impractical) but this was not my first bird of prey so I was prepared with sanitising hand wipes. But it was good of them to check everyone was okay with it. Just something to consider if you’re going to do an and are a bit icked out by that part. to handle owls, reptiles and insects. The were knowledgeable and passionate. Absolutely fantastic experience. The knowledge and facts known by the young man taking us through the day was incredible. We got time to and learn about lots of different and of prey. Overall experience. The young guy leading the session was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the birds, which made the engaging. At £48 per person it did feel a little on the pricey side for what’s included, but I understand it’s a niche, somewhat seasonal activity. For anyone on a budget, there’s also a £10 option just to watch, which would still be a fun for an hour or so 👍 Open Day was amazing! We went as four adults and had a wonderful experience. The itself isn’t too large but there are lots of to see! Really reasonable entry fee especially considering all of the amazing things we saw. We looking at their facebook to see timings and arrive when it opens. We got to owls, it was great. A young guy called Brandon knew answers to all my questions. There’s a cafe next door and you’re given a wristband to come and go all day. I wearing boots as there’s some uneven floor and a coat for warmth as it’s outdoors :) a lovely and we will be back for sure. Absolutely fantastic at the North Somerset Bird of Prey Centre’s opening day! We had such a brilliant time today — from the moment we arrived, the were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the incredible in their care. The flying displays were an absolute highlight — getting to see owls, falcons, and eagles up close was truly unforgettable. It was clear how much care and respect goes into looking after the here. The team took the time to answer questions and share fascinating facts about each bird, making the whole feel really personal and engaging. The atmosphere was relaxed, family-friendly, and well-organized from start to finish. This is an amazing place doing important conservation and educational work. Highly to anyone who loves wildlife or just wants a unique day out. Can’t wait to come back again soon! Owl (booked via Groupon) for two 9 year olds - brilliant hands on experience, fantastic value for money. Booked this for my daughter's birthday for her and her friend. More than 2 hours worth of owl handling with 12 other people, The girls favourites were the Eurasian Eagle Owl, Little Owl and the Barn Owl. All got a good of each of the and got to fly one of 2 owls. I also paid £10 each for my sister and 6 year old son to come in as spectators which was a much better than I thought it would be. As spectators we weren't able to the but could take photos and learnt all kinds of interesting information from the falconer who hosted the group, about all the different breeds. Would wellies/boots as was a bit muddy and lots of snacks for children spectators (there are picnic benches you can sit at and watch from). There is also a cafe next door (didn't go in as shut at 4.30pm and our went on until 4.15pm). Can't wait to go back and the whole centre.
