I personally like this hotel, from to restaurant all are good. Special lady who sit at very helpful. She gave me all the information in detail and listen me very patiently. Breakfast fast & adiquat, wifi was and Room was clean. 10 min walk from railway station. 5-8 min walk to bus stand from where you can catch bus to Salzburg. "gefühlt zuhause" - "feels like home". Couldn't be better said. I am here almost every week (feels like home-office :-) ) and the owner is one of the most friendliest people I know. The service orientation is unmatched as is the price/quality relationship. The radiates a great philosophy of life and the reflects the friendliness of the owner. Freilassing itself is not so big, but the nearness to Salzburg (7-12 min. by train) makes it an excellent alternative for staying and still visiting one of the most beautiful cities in Austria (don't forget your passport!). Still there are some nice restaurants very near: a traditional german/austrian, an indian and two italian restaurants. Just go and have a stay! Google asked me to update my review... I stayed just 1 night with my baby but we had a time. All the are so nice and friendly, the room very and the breakfast is 😋 tasty . The just reopened after change of ownership and renovations. The is absolutely cordial and just very pleasant. Our requests were happily met. The rooms are simple and clean. It is situated in the relatively quiet central market area of the town Freilassing. Commute with public transport to Salzburg doesn't take long at all. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was and comfortable, and the location was perfect. A special mention to the blonde lady at reception, she spoke excellent English and was incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful. She even recommended the Ben ‘n Jen burger place nearby, which turned out to be amazing. She really made us feel welcome. Highly recommended! This is a breeze after visiting multiple hotels in Austria the week before. It has a fresh, modern feel and has a and relaxed vibe. This will attract younger people or people who appreciate modern looking hotels. It's a three stories building with the being on floor nr 1. There is a shared balcony with different seats overviewing the quiet shopping street. A fridge provide soft drinks and beers. Write down what you take. My (single) room with small bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) were and fresh. As the breaths a spiritual vibe, the workers had pleasant communication skills. Also something that I had not experienced in Austria the week before. It was not a problem for them to wash my dirty cycling-cloths for instance. Very friendly reception. Breakfast was also sublime! Instead of the default "Kaiser" bread, eggs and "specke", there was more nutritious food available; porridge, fresh fruit, bananabread and gluten-free and nut-and-seed-bread. Yummy! All in all a very satisfied experience. I will visit again when in the neighbourhood!
