One of the must-stop towns Alsfeld is a small historic which has modernized and has about 10 thousand plus residents. The Marktplatz is the centre with lots of good restaurants and shops around it. Love the semi timber and wall houses that is what Alsfeld is famous for. Many medieval ages shown on media actually copied this design. I was glad I came here and really amazed by the upkeep of the centre. Most wonderful..picturesque..amazing ensemble.. Lovely city center with a lot of timber houses. Free bathroom behind the museum. Wow! Like world of wonders! This is a very well protected city for this country. There are plenty of architectural examples of 16th century buildings. Lovely hall, tiny stone roads, warm people and definitely many eat, drink and enjoy places. Definitely recommended, you’ll not regret it!
