Grungy, cosy, and absolutely worth a visit! The Market Lounge in Lincoln is a real hidden gem. It has this really cool grungy vibe—exposed brick, moody lighting, and quirky decor—but still manages to feel cosy and relaxing. It’s the kind of place you could easily lose track of time in. The food was spot on, with a great mix of comfort dishes and more creative options. The were friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you're in for a chilled-out lunch, casual evening drinks, or just looking for somewhere with real character, The Market Lounge ticks all the boxes. Free parking outside, indoor or outdoor seating, disabled and child friendly. Nice cosy inside and plenty of tables outside. Breakfast was superb. Same as a previous review, homemade beans are fantastic with a BBQ flavour and mixture of beans are used. Coffee was the right strength for a coffee lover. Friendly staff. Still ideal place for a breakfast. The full English is too big, didn't realize, but still taste great. Had to book a table for 5 people. Forgot to take a picture of the latest breakfast, but will have to come back again. We have dined at The Market Lounge multiple times and have always had a great experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a family meal. They offer a variety of dishes, and we especially appreciate the options available for kids. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a relaxed dining experience. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, The Market Lounge is a fantastic choice in Witham St Hughs. Highly recommended! The best roast dinner I’ve ever had out and such a price too! The were so lovely and so accommodating. Every single part of the roast dinner was delicious! By far my favourite place to go to for food or drinks!! I was very impressed from the beginning, the place is so nicely decorated and the gives you such a warm welcome. As it’s a family owned business communication of the is brilliant. We just wanted to go for Sunday lunch and we ended up highly impressed. The starters were brilliant it was so hard to choose as everything sounded so good, I’ll attach pictures along with what we had below but mains were just as impressive because of the variety of Sunday dinners there was, i don’t see that often in pubs or restaurants where they have just so many options but one was better than the other as we tried most of them. The drinks were just as I highly recommend the smoothies if you don’t drink alcohol, you can literally taste the fresh fruits. If you like something simpler but delicious I suggest the strawberry banana split, if you want a few flavours that are in perfect harmony I suggest the Big 5 smoothie. Desserts don’t disappoint either there were so many delicious options and it was a big group of us so we tried most of them. Any choice u make you win. Overall a very experience I was very pleasantly surprised and left full with some delicious takeaway boxes to take to the rest of our friends and family. Highly recommend, there’s a lovely outside area as it’s facing south whenever the sun is out it’s nice sunny and warm, however there’s umbrella to shield you from getting blinded by it. If you're searching for a brunch spot that delivers on both quality and quantity, look no further. From the moment we stepped inside, we could tell this place takes pride in its craft; thoughtful dishes, excellent ingredients, and an inviting atmosphere. My partner opted for the eggs Benedict, and it was nothing short of perfection. The poached eggs were huge and cooked flawlessly, resting atop a bed of chives and drizzled with a sauce that was simply divine. Meanwhile, I went for the pancake stack with bacon, eggs, and maple syrup; an indulgent combination that exceeded expectations. As someone with a big appetite, I’m usually left wanting more when dining out, but the portion size here was impressive! Beyond the food, the venue itself adds to the experience. The industrial-style interior, exposed brickwork, and visible piping create a unique charm that balances warmth with character. And if you have a sweet tooth, their cake selection is seriously tempting, displaying massive slices that look utterly delicious. To top it all off, the prices are reasonable, the drinks are great, and they're dog friendly which is a fantastic bonus for pet owners looking to enjoy a relaxed meal. If you're after a brunch spot that delivers on all fronts, this place is an absolute winner. Highly recommend! First visit after one or two recommendations. It did not disappoint! Amazing food , friendly professional staff. Would highly recommend .Had breakfast this morning , but will be returning soon to sample Sunday lunch . The food was fantastic, probably the best mixed grill I have ever eaten. The were exceptional and top value. I will be returning for a tomahawk steak next time.
