Would be better if had some consessions for disabled and elderly. Great Gym equipment and pletty of different work outs, for beginners to weight lifters 🏋️‍♂️. Cafe is great and have pletty of classes on to. Kids have pletty to do in lessons and general swimming 🏊‍♂️. Nice pool, Warm temperature, changing rooms a bit dated but clean and tidy, free hairdryers which work, communal changing area, plenty of lockers (£1 token or coin returned) mainly communal showers except for 1 separate private one. Free parking while using facilities. Good for lane swimming... No matter how slow I go! Handy for visiting ship's crew and local people alike Brilliantly attended, helpful staff, very clean warm pool. Only criticism is the changing rooms. Saturday family swims invariably see the male changing rooms shared with young females which isn't ideal, yet there are no unisex ones. Having to get changed in the toilet to avoid getting undressed in front of a 12 year old girl is not great. Quite a tired leisure centre lacking any update maintenance. Tired looking swimming and deep at 3.5 metres and not much of a shallow end for the less confident. They offered no price reductions for pensioners at the time of my visit. Just how I remember it as a kid, which... really isn't a bad thing! Bought a and gym membership a month ago for a reasonable £30p/m, and I regret nothing! FOH, lifeguards and in general are incredibly personable and polite. Facilities itself are absolutely fantastic. While walking through the building will send you on a nostalgia trip straight into the 80s/90s (which I quite like), the is stunning, as is everything else. The is incredibly clean, a lovely temperature, with regular (multiple/day) public lanes sessions with lanes for all speed. The swimmers are just as lovely as the pool, making for a welcoming environment all-round. Even my somewhat-affluent girlfriend was very impressed when she came down from Bournemouth, and you'd expect Bournemouth to have something bigger/better. Something can be said for Osprey, and it's something the modern world lacks. It's not fancy, there's no selfie lighting, and there's no gimmicks. Just the best in the county, lovely staff, and a great environment. Job done. Go here weekly to Aquafit classes. Great venu, friendly and professional staff, and the cafe is very reasonably priced. Their full gym membership is probably the most reasonably priced in the area covering many classes and the use of all gym equipment and specific times for use of the to. so friendly and helpful, they gave my daughter and I a thorough induction to the gym and printed out sets for us to follow..
