Been visiting for years. Car park much pot-holed, which serves to slow traffic somewhat. Free to NT members. Very busy on this visit. Some young men swimming; hardy souls. Naturist further along towards the car ferry. Did not visit. Staff have a beeper system which gets you to collect your order. Marvellous place for dogs. Limited menu, fish only served during the season. Nice to have a bit of salad and coleslaw and although it came with plenty of cheese the potato wasn't warm enough to melt it. Disappointing especially after walking over 2 miles to get there. Won't be going back. The cafe is located by the ,so you have beautiful views of the sea and old Harry rocks while you eat. The food is excellent with little waiting time. This area is national trust, so toilets are provided, and the and surrounding area is clean and safe. National Trust so absolutely lovely quality and choice. Being at Studland it's difficult to beat the views. Perfect place to see the sunset on Old Harry. Not just a cafe but large carpark, clean loos, shop and welcome hut. Staff are particularly kind and warm here. Shop is full of cute local things and treats. Their pickles and jams are delicious. I highly recommend the sour cherry curd paired with chocolate cake. We were just sightseeing and came across the beach. Parking was free as we are National trust members. The area seemed really nice, shop, restaurant, water station for dogs. The area is really nice too where you can sit or walk with your dogs. We didn’t try anything in particular but would definitely like to visit again to explore more. Not too busy a day self service reasonably quick, except for the hot drinks. 2 people serving them trouble is the coffees. What ever happened to black or white? Now, hot frothy milk, a shot of this or that, takes forever. I had a pulled pork roll, good job they described it I would never have known otherwise. Tasted quite bland. Great spot for a quick snack Stayed in September. Lush beach. Crystal clear water. Had a swim. Lots of water activities to hire. Car park was expensive (national trust) , £8/ 4hrs. Though the ticket is transferable along all NT car parks through the day. Café, souvenir shop and toilets also in car park. Located on Studland Sands, an excellent cafe, attached to a National Trust shop and toilet facilities. The person I was with said that the curry pasty was the best they have ever had, and the vegan sausage roll and chips were also excellent. We went there on a hot September day and you could almost imagine being at a front cafe in the Mediterranean (except everyone is eating chips with a cup of tea). Limited vegan options, had the vegan sausage roll it was OK. Also ordered a cream team (not vegan) which was stale and got my money back. Dog friendly Excellent location. Easy to pay for parking. Helpful staff. Food was a bit expensive but that is to be expected due to the location.
