Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a Weissbeer, service and selection of beer. Almost a British pub. Lacking a few ales. But still a place for a beer. John Bull Pub is a pub in the center of Aalborg. The interior is old angel style. Only the interior is worth a trip. The large selection of different beers. The staff is and helpful. It is definitely a pub that should be visited if you are in Aalborg. During our visit, we stopped by the bar to enjoy a few cold while catching the football game on TV. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and I couldn't find any faults with the place. We noticed that the crowd was slightly older compared to some of the other bars we had explored in Aalborg, but this added to the charm of the venue. It was to see a mix of ages enjoying their time together. Additionally, I have to mention that they served an excellent pint of Guinness—rich and creamy, exactly how it's meant to be enjoyed. Overall, it was a delightful experience! Really pub with outdoor tables. You can buy peanuts and potato chips to accompany your drinks here, but no food is available. Calm and not busy but again i was there on a week night to see some football and get a few beers. Stopped in here for pint. pub. Good selection of beers. Serve food and the barman speaks good english. Takes euros krone and english money. place to chill, have drinks & whiskeys at very reasonable prices. Best prices in town for a pub. :) The reason for the 3 star is that I believe they could do with a renovation. The booth couches are very outdated & coming apart where you can see the sponge filling of the inside of the seating booth. Also their glasses are very dirty and I would like to enjoy my 60kr whiskey from a polished glass not like the glass below which is very old & stained. Accidentally went to this bar, it was a good choice. The owner (I guess:)) was very friendly, share with us few stories and put some local drinks on the table for free! What else to say... perfect moment, superb Guinness! service and a range of beers. We didn't eat here just stopped in for a quick beer. The atmosphere is and a variety of on tap. Lovely place to have a cool drink on a warm summer day. The bartender was cheerful and I felt extremely welcome. There were many customers present, but it was easy to find a good seat in the outdoors seating area.
