It's a very old building, recently well-renovated and modern. Note that this village has only one restaurant, closed Monday night, and very few other shops. If you plan to cook, bring supplies. The was large, immaculately clean with a pretty view over the garden and the bed was really comfortable. The was delicious. She makes you feel so welcome and at home. The breakfasts are delicious and she provides facilities for you to make an evening meal for yourself or she can arrange one for you if the village restaurant is closed. We had a wonderful time at Le Tilleul de Ray, a lovely house surrounded by a beautiful garden. The host, Stéphanie, was very welcoming and helpful, and prepared a delicious with homemade jams and cakes. She even booked dinner reservations for us prior to our arrival. The was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. I also appreciated the access to the shared kitchen and the living room, where I could relax and chat with other guests. Le Tilleul de Ray is a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in the countryside. I highly recommend it and we hope to visit again one day! Yes location is remote but it is very quiet, peaceful, with plenty of fields and activities around. The garden is spacious with chickens, kids toys, swimming pool.
