I took RE 76 towards Oberstdorf from Munich and just disembark in the last station, the journey took around two hours and a half. From Oberstdorf you will have to take bus number 44 to go to the station Breitachklamm. Once you arrive in the parking lot there will be a sign on where to buy tickets, It will cost you €7.50 per person (adult). There are a lot of different routes you can take but I think by default you would have to take first the red because it is the one that goes through the gorge. Me and my friend wanted to see what was ahead so we went on with the green after being done with the red and it was beautiful, there were a few places alongside the river that you can access to sit and touch the water, there were also amazing spots to take photos. Although as the green was the longest one and needed a lot of time that we did not have because it was already quite late, we decided to turn back and take the orange back to the bus station. The was gorgeous! The red that goes through the needed around thirty to fifty minutes to complete depending on how much photos and breaks you take in between. At the checkpoint you can choose on which will you take next. I think the shortest you can take is going back with the orange route. Taking the red and then the orange would probably take you one hour and a half. The hike was easy and I believe anyone who is fit will be able to do it, including kids. Etwas enger weg, da die Leute von beiden Seiten kommen und nicht nur in eine Richtung laufen, aber super toll und was uns gut gefallen war das man vor Ort fast alles unkompliziert mit Karte zahlen konnte.
